World War In Waiting... Still

A few months ago, the eWorld was expecting a world war. Tension between the two largest alliances was rising quickly, and then we saw a huge conquest of the superpower known as the USA. The fight between the two alliances was not as great as we expected, but things may now be moving to a new level. The CoT/TWO war could be getting more interesting...

Macedonia Madness
CoT power, the Republic of Macedonia, has recently proposed Serbia as Natural Enemy along with several other countries. But at the same time, they are airstriking the small ACT country of New Zealand. New Zealand are one of the smallest countries in the TWO alliance, but wiping them would give bragging right for CoT, and split the alliances damage. Macedonia will be looking to conquer the 4 New Zealand regions, which would give them connections to the Pacific countries and South America. If they manage to take a region from Serbia when the battle opens up later, they will be regaining European regions as well.

Poland and Serbia, Damage Split
Poland and Serbia are two of the most influential and powerful countries in TWO, maybe even the world. If CoT could damage these countries, it would send ripples through TWO and scare off smaller countries from attacks. Weakening them would give CoT more of a fighting chance.

Serbia were fighting in at least 5 battles yesterday. This is a clear tactic from CoT to split damage and have a chance of weakening one of the strongest countries in Europe. A similar tactic was used by TWO when conquering USA in the past. Serbia have their empire spread across Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Italy and Croatia but with Macedonia attacking as well it will be hard for Serbia to keep the non-original regions. Serbia are already down to 40/60 resources and will be relying on TWO support if they are to keep the rest of their regions.

Poland have a strong empire across a lot of Europe, and with several connections to the capital, it will be much harder for CoT to cut off their 100/100 bonuses. Western Netherlands is the only oil region held by Poland, Silesia is the only saltpeter region held by Poland and Poitou Charentes is the only rubber region held by Poland. These will be the main target regions for CoT if they are going to reduce Polands weapons bonus.

USA Coming Back
In the past they have fought with Poland and Serbia over French regions, they have pushed through the eUK to find European regions and they have stayed as a strong country even when not in the strongest of alliances. After their disappointing loss to the TWO alliance, they are now regaining regions with the help of fellow CoT member Mexico. What does their comeback mean for the war? Well, USA will be looking for a way back into Europe via French or eUK regions. Fighting in France would give them an almost instant fight again either Serbia or Poland. Fighting in the eUK would give them a smaller country to conquer and stay in while they open up a front against a stronger country. With a number of fronts already opened against Poland and Serbia, they might be able to push them back. Both options have their pros and cons, and CoT will be looking into them for USA's battles.
