Holy crap, what a sequence of events!
1. Poland DoW on Mexico
2. Brazil attacks SA for free war against Poland
3. Brazil attacks Canaries to block Poland
4. Russia attacks Poland to help block since Canaries are a bottleneck
5. Russia attacks China...to block them from blocking Russian attack on Poland?
6. RW in the Canaries to try to cut Poland off from access to Mexico
7. Servia and Hungary attack Croatia to suck damage, and also out of boredom
8. Romania attacks Hungary to block in case attack on Croatia succeeds
9. India attacks Servia 1v1 to block in case attack on Croatia succeeds/to try to kick Servia out of Asia
10. Iran attacks India to block blocking attack on Servia
11. Turkey attacks Israel because of all the chaos.
12. Italy hit Slovenia so Slovenia can attack the Rhone Alps.
13. Mexico pre-emptively hits Poland in the Canary Islands.
Slovakia and the Czech Republic wrap up their TW.
Colombia wraps up a TW with Venezuela.
US secures Mindanao from Indonesia, freeing it for offensive operations.
Also, there are RWs all over the place.
Looks like everybody just got bored waiting for V2 and decided to blow their gold stockpiles. It’s gonna be interesting for once.

This is still WWIV, and it will stay that way until EDEN or Phoenix undergoes an important change of some kind.
I think your point about everyone just getting bored waiting for the new version is spot on!
WW4 was supposedly the Asia campaign
The American Campaign in Asia is far from worthy of WW4 status. It directly involved about 10 nations and was primarily located in Asia. It was a regional war.
These actions directly involve every continent except maybe Australia, and that could come in the next couple days. That's a world war.
If you guys look it up in the Wiki, you'll see that WW 4 involed the Asian campaign, the Great Southern War, and the various European conflicts that popped up. This is just an extension of WW4 after a lull in the fighting.
