World updates: China, Hungary, South Africa and more [ENG]

Been a while since i published news now, this is due to me soon graduating school and therefore having waaay to much studying to do. All the news here aren't 100% fresh but i hope it'll do for now
China fights for freedom
After liberating Hello Kitty from the Hungarians Chinese government, along with its EDEN allies, had gained new confidence. Dreams of Chinese control of their own territories now started to seem like a realistic goal. The battle for Hello Kitty was a hug setback for PHOENIX economy and so EDEN hoped to deliver a final blow against them by aiding China in the battle for Liaoning (Lion King).
Although gaining the upper hand in the early stages of the battle, EDEN/Bro and China soon found themselves pushed back by a joint PHOENIX defence. For Serbia, the holders of the region, this means holding a key region but the question remains how much longer this will last. With the full support of EDEN and USA, China has proved to be a real threat for the PHOENIX influence in Asia.
Further more, USA claims that they are unable to attack Serbia despite having borders, this would be due to a bug in the game. The US says that the game is somehow prohibiting them from starting a war with Serbia and asks admin to fix this bug.
If this “bug” will be fixed by admins, Serbia will probably not be able to hold their high iron region for much longer, thus further damaging the PHOENIX economy.
Renegade Hungary
Meanwhile Hungarians are now trying to deal with the issues of loosing their high iron regions. The lack of iron has forced Hungarians to rely on import and thus raising the prices for weapons, a vital asset with all the fighting going on in Hungary.
Time for Hungary to solve their issues
In a desperate move to lower the prices for guns, Hungary asked for peace with the US hoping to get access to their iron. USA decided to test the Hungarians loyalty, telling the Hungarians that they would agree to sign peace. Hungary proposed peace and Hungarian congress voted yes, US congress however voted no. It had all been a setup from the US side in order to test Hungarians loyalty towards PHOENIX and Serbia in particular. Domestic issues were what ripped EDEN and USA apart, will the same happen to PHOENIX? Well, probably not. But still it is interesting to see how far the Hungarian President and Congress were ready to go, putting their own interests before PHOENIX.
South Africa
In the battle of Limpopo South Africa at last gained independence, kicking the last Argentines out of their own regions. This meant the end of a long occupation of South africa by PHOENIX.
Cape town, now free from PHOENIX.
Liberating South Africa, or throwing PHOENIX out of the regions, had been a long term goal for EDEN and the US and it was with the help of EDEN/Bro that the liberation was finally a success.
Surprisingly the attack on Limpopo was met with little resistance, this however was probably due to PHOENIX being busy with Lion King and Argentineans realising that holding the region would be near impossible in the long run.
EDEN betrayal or English humour?
The supreme commander of EDEN, avec, recently had all of EDEN scared like s***. Posting a joke article in which he claimed he was an UK spy. Many players took it way too serious and actually believed that he had been scamming them all along.
Avec is a former citizen of the UK and because of this he has always been met with suspicion from some EDEN citizens.
The voice of EDEN later published an article in which avec admitted it was nothing but a bad joke. Furthermore he claimed that his ambitions of liberating Lion King still remained, saying that “our job is not done until we've liberated Liaoning, and pushed Phoenix back to its cores”
English comedy, hate it or love it.
Balkan and Austria
The war of the Balkans remains a status quo with neither side seeming to gain the upper hand. Regions are being swapped forth and back while minor countries surrounding the giants Serbia, Hungary, Croatia and Romania try to distract their enemies.
The fact remains however that Croatia and Romania have a hard time taking CH. Even with 15MPP
Altough woriking hard, EDEN/Bro still can’t seem to break the Hungarian defences.
Recently however the attention has turned to Austria. Pro-EDEN and Pro-PHOENIX movements in the country are tearing it apart. A lot of RL Croats are residing in Austria and they are now hoping to turn Austria into an EDEN member.
Austria was a founding member of PEACE GC and had had good relations with former PEACE countries. Also Croatia had invaded Austria not long ago and so there is a lot of Austrians being Pro-PHOENIX and some citizens asking for a neutral Austria.

Good article, except for it doesn't mention the Hungarian ultimatum to USA considering safety of Karnataka if that other iron colony (Liaoning) was to fall. I'm curious: was the ultimatum part of the proposed peace deal?
