Hi all,

Up to this point I have just released articles with words in them. They were a bit like what you would say in a job interview. I am hard working and will get the job done etc. Now I will give you the gritty bits on two of the ministries. This is how I plan to run the MoHA and the MoD.

Now, due to my love of planning and preparation I have effectively just spammed by ideas on the page. I would like to point out that I am no writer, I pretty much type how I would speak. My skill set lies in mathematics and numbers which would explain my 7 terms as MoF!

I also understand people can't stay focused very long when a big boring slab of writing is put in front of them. This is here for you to look at if you want, but I will also randomly scatter the article with pictures of our greatest Olympic Hero just so you can think - "Oooh, Pweety Picture"






The Ministry of Home Affairs

This ministry is one purely focused on getting the information to the people of the eCountry. There are a few challenges that it faces which I will attempt to tackle in a different way than I have seen before (maybe it has been done and I just haven't seen it).

The Challenges and the Solutions

Exposure, Information and Fun.

Has the current MoHA team had a good term? This was actually something that was up for debate in a recent article. When you actually go to the MoHA org and look at the newspaper you will see that in comparison to other terms they really have got a lot of articles out there. There have been some funny ones, informative ones and some down right interesting ones.

The problem is, I only really found this out when I went looking. I will put my hand on my heart and say that sadly I don't go out of my way to read Government articles. If I don't, someone who has been in Government for now an 8th time, do the public?

I get the feeling that people will read and enjoy these articles if they are right in front of them to be read.



My MoHA team will be a large one this term if elected. There will be one individual with a guiding hand over the whole of the ministry. This person will ensure that the rest of the MoHA team are meeting deadlines by writing articles on their given topic. We will attempt to have an article rota to ensure that we do not spam the media on one day and have absolutely nothing on another day. While this person will have the task of making sure that the articles are written and to keep track of a large team they have a much more important role as well.

They will be attempting to get all of the released articles to your fingertips. We all know the media module in this game isn't what it could be. After three days your articles are effectively lost into the abyss. We will attempt to by pass that with in game linked articles.

This is something that I have always wanted to get going for whatever it was I was working on (Legion, MoF, etc). I needed to make sure I gave this large task of organisational work and man management to the correct person and I think I have.



I would like to announce the first reveal of my MoHA team.

One of my Ministers for Home Affairs for this coming term is....Huey George.

Now, that isn't to say that there are no other MoHA ministers. As I said, this is a large team!

Every MoHA will have a specific role and specific deadlines. If they are unable to meet these deadlines they can see if there is anyone else in the team willing to write their article for them. If there isn't anyone, this is where the dMoHA gets involved

Any individual who is a dMoHA will effectively be on our subs bench. They will be involved in the group chats and have input on the direct we take in the ministry but will only have a specific role to fill if a different minister is unable to complete their role. I know this isn't a job, things come up, I expect these people to get a lot of articles to write!

The MoHA roles are not yet set in stone, in fact they never will be. If someone comes up with an idea for a different topic then we will adapt and get some articles about it out there if it is what the people want to see.



Now, I have been heavily involved in Military Units since I first joined this game way back (at least it feels like way back for me). So this is a bit of a personal topic for me.

Keeping Orders Up to Date

This is effectively the core of the MoDs duties in our current set up. We have many MUs in our eCountry and we need to advise them where our alliance and country best require the damage to go. Some units have pledged to only fight where the MoD thinks is best, if these orders are out of date, this just can’t happen.

I will be making sure that a MoD article is kept up to date throughout the day as well as having a PM for all Commanders and 2iC as well as the Captains which would like to be included. This will be the fastest way to get information to the people with the buttons to keep our fighting directed. We will also keep the IRC chat up to date!


Orders Explanation

One thing which I think is key is telling people why we are fighting where we are. Sure it may be all well and good to just to fight for countries overseas all the time but most people want to know why! What is the importance of this battle? In a way - who cares? I will make sure you know who cares.


Explore MU Combat Orders

A lot has been made of the recent changes in game and how we can best utilize them for a better eUK.

The side of this debate I currently lie on is a single MU controlled by either myself or one of the individuals in the MoD who will set combat orders for MUs of the eUK. As far as I am aware only the Commander can set these orders and not Second in Command so only one individual can be tasked with this.

The aim, as pointed out in many of the good guides that have popped up here in the eUK, is to direct damage to the battle we want. This is done by supplying cash for damage instead of tanks. Due to the restrictions we can enforce this can actually be money spent very well indeed.

I am a fan of a single MU for the eUK where we all pull our resources together and make it all work for the good of the eUK. However I am a realist, I know this isn’t going to happen and if it does it will take months of work and co-ordination and to be honest will have nothing to do with the government at all. There was a good chat in #eUK about this lately and it was very clear that there needs to be a lot of support for this idea by many big names in the eUK if it is to ever happen.

For now I am happy to use this single Gov controlled MU to direct damage via the new combat orders. Allowing everyone to keep their current built up structures and communities as well as the sense of pride that comes with it.

I helped build up a reliable and sustainable supplies system within The Legion during my time of commander there building on the excellent work that was already done. If any MUs would like my help to point them in the right direction I am happy to discuss topics with them ranging from supplies all the way to automating the supplies spreadsheet. This offer stands even if I don’t win the CP elections as I am always happy to help out.



Military Unit Competitions

This is something I love the idea of. In our country we have a lot of people who are very proud of which military unit they are doing the damage for. This is something we can play on to try and get the most out of our units.

As we saw in the recent military competition, when pride is at stake, we fight harder. We used to average about 600M damage a day before the competition. During the competition, on some days, we improved our damage by 100%! I know that a lot of gold was spent and this isn’t something that can be done on a daily basis, but what can be done is inspire people to be more active with their FF. If people are trying to use more of their FF because their MUs pride is at stake then who knows how far we can go with this.

I am hoping to work with my MoD team to get something up and running as soon as possible and make sure it is fair for all units involved. For instance we won’t just be doing unit that does the most damage, we won’t just be doing the unit who does the most damage per person. We will attempt to look at everyone, totals, averages, activity, Division breakdowns. Anyone interested in helping us out with this, please get in touch.


#MoD Push
#MoD is the home of the eUK military in the eUK. I am hoping this term to push more people to use it. It is well known that August is a bit of an inactive month for the eUK which is something that is possibly beyond my control. I am hoping to change that and attempt to ensure we will ahve more in there by the end of the term than we do now.

As I write this, we have 51 people in #MoD.



A Commanders Chat

This is something that is not always amazingly beneficial but if done in the correct manner can be. There is a lot of resentment between some Commanders currently and I am hoping that instead we can build on friendships and share ideas with eachother on how to improve our systems. Maybe one unit is doing something in a slightly different way and it is just making the lives of the people in that MU better or maybe the Commanders job easier.


The Rocket Team

In the recent competition and Indo Airstrike I was giving out tanks to people with Rocket Factories in an attempt to deal more damage for the eUK in the Indo battle and The Legion for the comp. It actually worked pretty well and I handed out over 100M rocket damage!

This is something I would like to look into. Because it is a trial it will be run purely on my own money as I don’t want to throw eUKs money down the drain if it doesn’t work out.

I can’t promise this will be a success and implemented by the end of my term, I will just give it a go to see what I can do!

As you can see, these are my plans lined out for the MoD. I am attempting to take the Ministry further than it normally goes and I hope to have found the right team to get that going. I am currently discussing with by MoD team how we will be proceeding to meet these goals. Once we have figured that out, I will release details of my team!


I am now off to a family wedding in Italy until Sunday. I will not promise to reply to any PMs in this time, but do not fear, my Ministers are already working to set things up while I am away! Both of the above mentioned ministries already have PMs set up for people prepare and get ready for the 6th, if I am to be elected.

I will release all of my plans for the MoF, MoFA and MoH when I get back. I have not forgotten about them at all and as the two above there are already PMs planning ahead!

Applications to the MoFA team are fairly low, the MoFA hotshots have requested that I ask for more applications! All other Ministries are looking good but there are a few gaps if people are still interested!
