The Writer’s Guild of SFP

Friends, Acquaintances, and Everyone in Between –

As May quickly approaches (tough to believe am I right?) we are once again called upon by Plato to cast our votes for our Country President.

This month I am both pleased and excited to announce that Wooky Jack will be running for our Country President on May 5th.

WJ briefly mentioned something about a Writer’s Guild in his last article, and how this team of writers may be able to help on the national level. You may be asking yourself, what the heck is the Writer’s Guild….never heard of them before.


WHO ARE THEY??

Ah, my good people, but you have.

The Writer’s Guild began as an experiment by Ghosts of Tom Joad, former PP of the SFP, to foster and create innovative and supportive writing. What began as an idea blossomed into a full blown forum subsection and a massive PM chain that involves over 15 writers.

Writers are constantly posting drafts, submitting final copies and sharing ideas within the threads. Writer’s Guild members shout, vote, subscribe and comment on each other’s articles to support a fellow Guild members work.

Now the most important question is: how could the Writer’s Guild help the eUS on a national level?



In my experience, media always blitzes itself out in the first week of elections. This occurs in CP, Congressional and PP elections. Media articles pop out faster than kids in that TV show “17 Kids and Counting”. Over the course of the next two weeks of the term, media begins to falter. By the fourth week, media is typically non-existent. This is normal! People get stagnant; people get bored. I 100% understand this. But how do we fix this system? The answer is a group like the Writer’s Guild.

The Writer’s Guild shares and creates articles and is 100% able to write in conjuction with other members, so articles could be pushed out by the Guild almost daily. The Writer’s Guild can provide this for the eUS. The Writer’s Guild has so many good writers that I can promise a non-stagnant media throughout an entire term!

All you have to do is vote Wooky Jack on May 5th.
