1.Ok so why the name Grainne Ni Mhaille? How do you pronounce it? Where does it come from?

It is the name of an historical Irish Pirate Queen Grace O Malley
Roughly, you pronounce it like "Grawnyeh". In English, it translates as Grace O'Malley. She was an interesting figure for the times she lived in, very unconventional, inspiring, and tough. Her homelands are beautiful, wild and remote. You can't visit these places and fail to be moved.

2. What are your thoughts on the current state of the country?

Country? Which one? My residence flag flaps indiscriminately between Irish and British, and the days of "true" e-diplomacy are long gone. Sadly, the troll kingdom prevails. The classy beta-giants have made way for brainless idiots, as far as I can tell.

3. Will we see you run for president one day?

I'd rather eat my own toenails. Pretty as they are, it's never gonna happen. I've no interest in the "suits", and never have had. Ran only once for congress when I was in Theocratic Holy Army. It was a duty/obligation there, and I did so willingly. Apart from that, I hate the vitriol of e-politics and ducked out of that game very early on.

4. What is the definition of your paper’s name? Why Perthro?

I'm surprised you could even find it, it's so covered in e-dust. I used to write quite a lot in various military capacities, and that was fine. Personal writing used to attract a lot of freaks and e-stalkers, so I kinda gave up.
Perthro is a Rune. It is my favourite one, as it is largely unfathomable. I'm bang inta all that kinda ancient divination stuff 😉

5. How do you think men and women perceive you in this game?

No idea to be honest.
Don't care too much either. I have some very good e-friends, and they matter to me a lot. For the rest, who cares?
The male/female thing is quite strange, too. There are an awful lot of dudes pretending to be women here, mainly as a way of trying to establish closer friendships with the other female players.
Needless to say, dudes aren't great at pretending to be female. We can always tell. Sometimes it takes a while, but eventually they all slip up and reveal their lizardy skin and forked tongues. Freaks. Can't think of a single reason why you would do this, unless you are plain weird.
Or desperate.

6. Have you ever used the fact that you are a woman to get ahead in this game?

Uhm, no? Why would I? How could I? Who does?????? And why??? 😮

7. Any women that inspire you this game? In RL?

In RL, I dont really have any heroes. The most truly amazing people I have known tend to be unassuming, quiet, discreet. I'm not a fan of media-darlings. I don't watch TV at all, so that helps weed out most of the "aspiration" dross.

Gentleman - moomoohead

Hottest Soldier - ALL eIrish Soldiers. Love 'em all. Especially the 21's.

And all my brothers from Theocratic Holy Army - phwoaaar! They were REAL tanks, when it meant something.

Manfriend - castaneda have known him since we were noobs. Great guy, top player, moody b****er 😛

9. I noticed you like poetry? Tell me about how you feel about it?

I'm a big fan. Broad tastes, from classics to beat poets. I'm Irish f*s.
I'd be a real slacker if I wasn't up to my eyes in literature at home, wouldn't I?

10.Hottest RL man alive on the planet right now in your opinion?

My boyfriend of course! Doh! But I can't supply a pic, or the rest of you would be feeling deeply inadequate..... Seriously, he's gorgeous, and talented, and muscly. Yum! Oh, and he has the HOTTEST accent. I should sell his voice for sexlines 😉

11.Favorite music, group, singer?

Lots. Hate R&B, DETEST Country and Western, DETEST IT !!!!
Did I mention I DETEST COUNTRY & WESTERN? Makes me wanna kill cowboys, and thats not good for a pacifist. The women are worse. Really - do us all a favour, cowgirls, and kill yourselves.

Like trad Irish stuff, classical freaks like Mahler, and more chilled out stuff like Massive Attack. Saw them live a few times and they were amazing. Love Florence Welch, but its probably just a redhead solidarity thing 😛
My boyfriend is into punk and other rebellious stuff. I'm learning to accept it 😛

12.What are your thoughts on emarriage?

I think its ridiculous. But I think RL marriage is ridiculous, too. The only function seems to be to keep laywers in business, if RL friends are anything to go by. The Irish have a saying: Níl aon leigheas ar an ngrá ach pósadh. The only cure for love is marriage.... 'nuff said 🙂

13.What do you like to do to relax RL? What do you do for a living?

Sleep. Hang out with mates. Spend time at the Ocean (which is on my doorstep). Other stuff too personal to share. Same as everyone, I guess. Work? Tech-related investment stuff, self-employed. Try to have a rhythm that suits my general laziness. Work, make-money, spend-money,work again.

14. Thoughts about me? Myself on WorldWideWhitehead? Will you ever call in?

You're great 🙂 Have always liked your stuff. No, I'll never call in. I try not to mix up the real me with the game me. Voices included 🙂

15. Anything you want to say to anyone?

Plenty, but you'd lose your audience. The game is a glorious one, but run by a very amateur team. The social aspect keeps most of us here, but the constant changes are exhausting and irritating to many of us as they pick everyone off, module by module.....reminds me of Niemöller. kinda:
"First they came for the Field Marshals
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Field Marshal.

Then they came for the Economists
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't an Economist

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me."

At this rate, they will alienate all of us and create another pathetic farmville that no-one wants.
ANYWAY.....
Yeah, I'm still sore that the migration from V1 sucked, and I lost my skills and FM status. It annoyed me so much that I stopped playing for months. In the end, I came back because friends convinced me to play differently, and chill a bit. Hey, that's what friends are for 🙂

Finally, you mentioned that it is hard to determine males from females here, and that it can come as a surprise to people whom have been "duped". I feel quite pragmatic about it these days. It doesn't matter to me whether you are male or female, we will either get on, or we won't. That's life. The teenage prurience and e-stalking gets to be routine after a while, and you just zone out from it. IRC is probably the most difficult environment if you wanna avoid abuse, stalking, IP address tracing, superfoul language and general nonsense. If it upsets you, ladies, just stay away. Worked for me, anyway 🙂
