Wish you had more variety in your eLife?

Hello. Not long ago I received a forfeit point simply because I attempted to stir the erep pot. Mainly, citizens who are not so involved in politics, whether it be by choice or simply due to time restrictions, are bored with the monotony of "working, training, and fighting".
People want more but there is not much else to do here. So I ask you: How in the world can we really have an eLife when our options are so limited?
I mean this game NEEDS more entertainment injected into it. Whether it be by poker tournaments, hockey pools, heck even an eDating service! It can be whatever you want it to be really.
The point is that people are desperate to spend some time having a little more fun and the fact that the administration has done nothing to provide us with any is a great injustice.
Erepublik has the potential to be a great game but it will never achieve that pinnacle if things remain the same.
It starts with a demand for change and the more persistent we are the more people will jump on the bandwagon. If our voices get loud enough they wont be able to ignore us and they will be forced to give us what we want!
I know there are many of you who also share these views so it's up to us to make it happen. Maybe a petition can be started?
To those who have already tried adding some life and have also been given warnings and forfeit points do not despair. Keep it up and maybe one day you will be noticed. You need to continue trying to set a precedent.

eRep has made any form of "gambling" a no. So thats simple lotteries to pools and poker. Your best bet (lol) is to simple run those sorts of activities on your national forum.

Eadie...I mentioned pools and poker as an example. It can be anything you want it to be so long as people have more options. That's the point I'm trying to make.
BTW why is "gambling" illegal? I mean people would be playing with erep "money" lol so it's not really considered gambling in the first place.
Agreed, the "in game" activity needs to increase for the benefit of those not interested in the "off game" activity (ie: off site forums, politics, etc"😉

The time of WW3 when Canada was being conquered 8 months ago was by far the most enjoyable part of this game for most...
I'd agree with rolo when we lost everything it was at that time i enjoyed the game the most!

voted and subscribed! I think an national loterie would be cool. You could buy several tickets and if you win, you would get, oh say 10 gold. We should propose this to the admin (for v2 most likely)
Gamboling would be an interesting twist. Some citizens might chose to gambol their money away, making the whole thing more profitable for the owners (more people buying money) This could be a real reason for the erep team to do these kinds of thing, also adding more fun to the game 🙂

I suppose the admins MAY be concerned that if there is a gambling component, SOME people MAY buy eRep gold with "real world" money in order to gamble on a grander scale... and for those so addicted, this could become a serious problem. If that's the case, perhaps the admins have a bit of a conscience...
Of course, seriously addicted gamblers are probably not playing this game anyway... they are over at some on-line Texas Hold'em site!
Good points! I've tried to contribute to some absurdity and fun in my native eNorway, the results has been slightly successful at best.
Maybe more usage of the eRep wiki could do some good? Write weird biographies for the players etc.
Entertainment is not a matter of fingers ; I prefer inter-avatar relationships, which means words... And so i do 😉 Okay, such a comment has no value for your quest. Except the weight of more words... Might be a beginning of an idea : renumerate avatars tot he number of (new) words they produce, and that are tasted by others. Which somehow means... payable media works : bad idea. Forget it ! Or not.
