Set It Off - Why Worry

I was looking through my articles for inspiration today. I feel the need to write an article but I don’t feel like I have anything left to say. What I found is that I have a theme, getting you to talk to me. This is something I have always written about, other than PP and CP articles and even those fit into that theme.

Why

Why do I care if you talk?

Basically I have always believed that this is a more social game than war. Sure, it has changed quite a bit since we were wiped, but the social aspect of the game still exists and you can see that in the current CP administration. Tyler ran with the cause of bringing back our social media and getting everyone involved, even those in WTP who we had an iffy relationship with. He has successfully healed our relationship with some in WTP (not all but enough that I consider it successful). I am very proud of all that he has accomplished. I have to be honest and say I was starting to think that the social creatures of the game had given up and were gone but it has become plainly obvious to me that I was wrong. I wish I was more involved in Tyler’s success but I am not. I have been more involved in party stuff, because I enjoy working within the party structure.

So far I have written an article that has very little to do with becoming Party President, even though that was the purpose of this article, so I should probably get to that at some point

So Why? Why am I even writing this article?

Well

Originally, I was planning to write an article talking about the Party President election coming up and the plethora of people running this month. We have quite a few more people running that usual in the feds.

In the heyday of the game when didn’t have that many. A few of them are regulars. They always run but they never talk. Then we come to Lord Beerus. I am unsure what his motives are. He is a funny guy and I like him, but he confuses me.


He originally ran because I didn’t put him in congress. Truth is I don’t know him. He had come to the eUS and joined the feds and ran for congress in about a 2 week period. I will never put someone in congress I don’t know, The entire exchange with him was funny, so I am assuming that this is all in fun.

Then we have Alien President. Now as most of us know this is not a new player. We have no proof of who he is and I am not going to speculate here. All I know is this is very odd. He moved from WTP to the Feds and ran for Party President. I can only speculate why he is there. I assume it’s to pto us but I have no proof of that. Neither of them has joined our on forum primary as of yet. So I am clueless as to why they are there. I challenge both of them to join our forums and announce their candidacy so they can be included in our primary.

All of that to say I am running for Party President and I hope you believe in me enough to give me another month.
