Why we should attack Germany

Day 239, 01:11 Published in Sweden Sweden by Focus Magazine

There's a massive overproduction on the Swedish markets. Weapons and moving businesses are hardly selling and surplus markets are getting flooded. We could of course export the surplus, but the gold market is screwed up. There's hardly a shortage of gold in the Swedish treasury, and we've got a perfect target for attack.

Lets be real here, we have a contract with Germany that states that if Germany breaks the terms Admin is to deliver all German regions to Sweden. Whether or not this includes Polish regions is uncertain at this time. Either way, the popular opinion is that if we turn to Admin, nothing will happen anyway.

Right now Germany is in the hands of the Polish, and they're permanently screwing up the German economy. We'd actually bring the German population a stable economy by taking them over, and once Fight For Freedom is out, we could give Germany some territory back, and this time the territory they were supposed to get (which is one region less than the Admin gave them).

Of course, any war these days will be joined by a large number of "Freedom fighters", generally people hiding behind Defender's bonus while claiming they're fighting for peace. If this was Germany, they'd be supported by Pakistan and a large number of powerful allies, this is however a Germany conquered by the Polish, and they won't recieve alot of support. Then again, even if they did recieve support (Sweden is not too popular down south), we'd be at an advantage. We've got a rich market and Q4 hospitals, Germany has a Q3 hospital in Saarbrucken, a region we could conquer in the first battle.

Even if Germany recieved a huge amount of international support, the lack of MPPs and hospitals means we'd be fighting a winning fight. Nobody in their right mind would invest in export licenses to a country about to be taken over, and the German market would quickly run out of supplies.

The only risk is that we'd have more resistance groups within Sweden, but with some cooperation from the major parties it's nothing we couldn't handle. If anything it'd make the political situation in Sweden alot more interesting.
