Why The Hate?

Why The Hate?

eIsrael, I am disappointed in the recent resurgence of anti-American sentiment. There is now a proposed official anti-American party. Although many mainstream eIsraelis reject this kind of ignorance, many unfortunately share Daniel Ender's opinion of Americans. To those who wish to bring their RL hatred, ignorance, and prejudices into this experiment known as the New World, I ask a simple question, Why? Why do you want to destroy the beauty of this world by bringing all the stupid arguments and conflicts of the old world into it? Do we not have enough to argue about that we have to bring race, ethnicity, nationality, and religion into the game? Why do you want to limit your experience in the new world to a country filled with people that look, talk, and think exactly like you? How is that learning to embrace diversity?

Since my earliest days in the New World, I've been a fan and supporter of eIsrael. I did not love eIsrael until I came to live here at the request of a good friend of mine, Gzen, over a year ago, and I have loved this country ever since. I love eIsrael for its community. I was almost immediately accepted into the community and I felt apart of something bigger than myself. That is why I am still here. Not for power or money, but for the community. This is why most eIsraelis stay in my opinion. They don't care what language we speak, what religion we belong to, or where we live in Real Life, because none of that matters in the New World. This New World is meant to be an escape from the dark and depressing reality of the world we live in. In this world we can do things we never thought we could ever do, like run a successful company, be elected to Congress, or even be elected President.

The UIIP

The UIIP has become the lightning rod of the anti-American attacks recently. This confuses me greatly because obviously the opposition has not taken the time to read the UIIP Charter.

ISRAELI - We pledge to put the best interest of eIsrael ahead of ourselves and our party. This is critical to our national unity, development, and survival. We accept members from all backgrounds and all countries, but we expect all to put the good of eIsrael first in their eHearts and eMinds. We are dedicated to the existence of an eState of eIsrael in eRepublik, and when we are threatened as a nation, we will seek to ensure eIsrael's survival above all other personal and party concerns.

The UIIP's goal is not to take over eIsrael and turn it into a puppet state of any kind. We are just as committed to seeing eIsrael be the best it could ever possibly be as any other party. What makes us unique is that we aim to achieve this through maintaining an active, informed, open, and accepting Community. CRoy, Thain Peretz, Robbie Lizzini, and I, have a long record of working with our fellow countrymen to build a better eIsrael, and we all form the leadership of the UIIP. We are not the enemies. It’s time we grow up and start playing the game.
