I agree, Teh You Jing is one of eSingaproes longest and most dedicated members. He has been there as one of the few through thick and thin and most everything that has happened in eSingapore he has participated in. As far as experience goes he is no doubt the best candidate.

As was also mentioned above he may very well be one of the most level headed individuals we have here as well. He rarely looses his cool and is always up for a good discussion. This is also another great reason for him to be in office as the role of president is a very taxing one and can add a lot of pressure especially in such turbulent times.

This guy participated during all 4 of my presidential cabinets and was of great help in many ways. I think its time we give him a shot to see what he can do.

To tell the truth, in my one month of erepublik, i have not had a single conversation/PM/anything to do with TYJ. All i've heard of him was a complaint about him being elitist, and then this article...

I'm more inclined to believe this article, as it came from a more reliable source (in my opinion), however, i have yet to meet him, and thus, won't make any assumptions

Talk to him, lol. He stays out of the drama usually. So pretty much means he is often quiet on IRC, lolz.

Well to be honest, I don't know who used it, but Elitist is a stupid term though. It's something used by people who think they should have more then they are given because they don't understand the concept of doing work to earn something instead of having it handed to you while you sit around on your ass begging and doing little. Essentially like the people using that term to others generally are attempting to pull off.

They get called out on it and instead of doing the work required they stoop to insults as the next best strategy. Especially in this small eNation, there is no such thing as elitist. You will find this out quickly Leo if you continue on the path you are going it shouldn't take long to be involved in operations. It is fairly easy to get involved in eSingapore especially, the only real obstacle is proving your not a PTOer and not an asshat.

Obviously people who are either one of those find the route more difficult.

I haven't talked to him because, from my point of views, he has no presence. I have nothing to talk to him about.
Also, elitism isn't necessarily bad. An elite group of rulers is better than smart people having to deal with halfwits, while at the same time trying to instigate progress (in some cases)(im not saying im elitist)
Ill try and get to know TYJ better.

TYJ was around long before I joined erep, and he was one of the few eSingaporeans that I had a good impression of since then. I wouldn't be able to vote for Chewie, as I really do not know enough about him.

Teh You Jing however, is a great lad, and I trust him fully.
However, for too long Singapore has been living in a bubble. People in Singapore hardly know people outside Singapore. Knowing them as in friends. This is what puts Singapore in the situation where it currently is.

I have the right friends who owe me a few favours. They could help in cleaning this up. Easily.

I vote Teh you jing because he is the only one that is decent.

Fruit, just so you know being the big Troll that you are (amongst other things) only hurts your friends campaign. Tbh Chewie has a better chance to win this without your "help".

TYJ has certain months of the year where his school schedule is lighter and he has more time for politics, the rest of the time he is much less active for sure. That doesn't change the fact that when he is participating he has always been very active. You cannot judge how reachable he has been during one of his busy times compared to how he will be when he isn't busy. It also doesn't change what he has accomplished during those times. He has participated in many beneficial political agenda's to great success in the past.

Maybe he doesn't respond to your PM because he doesn't like you. Because I have never had this problem, he always responds quickly to me when I take into account the time zone differences and don't message him when he sleeps. Which is pretty impressive if he is half as inactive as you say.

I got nothing against Chewie personally. We have always been cool. However if he has people like you on his staff fruit I have to question his decision making and would rather The You Jing be president as he has proven to me he can make good decisions.

Yea, Srnth PMed me several times in the past week and I didn't replied a single one cos all he did was whine for 9999 access in IRC. I'm fed up of dealing with Srnth's requests for more power within IRC. I've given him 11, which is more than enough to keep it in control in almost every situation.

For everyone else that PMed me on something important, yea, ask them. I replied them as soon as I get back from school and get into erepublik.

I've been working on my election article with my team, but have yet to post it. This article (of Relorian's) is certainly proof that you guys were waiting to troll the hell out of the first article that supports me.

For fruit, there is plenty of reason to ban you off the irc with your countless usage of colourful language and your getting around the filter after I had it in, as well as your abusing of ops when someone gave it to you for a small period of time. The times I've spent in IRC is only to see you insult every other person and country. If you say I spend little time in IRC and it is every single time I spent there to see you doing so only means how much more you do so in my absence.

As for intelligence, suffice to say, someone of your age doesn't have a good gauge of intelligence. From what I'm told and have witnessed, your equation includes making an ass out of yourself trolling anywhere that gives you attention.

Leo Schultz, one month won't be enough to come to interaction with me besides IRC which I remember indirectly speaking with you, last two months were more than enough projects and their respective deadlines. It was a torture. So anw, I hope I can spend the next few months getting to know you more.

I meant no personal offence by this at all. I know how school can be. I took three months off this winter/spring due to school.
However, after serving as vice president this month I do also know how time consuming a position like president / vice president is.

That made me laugh. Having served as a Vice President twice, I can tell you the job is a cake walk. You talk to the project managers and keep them on track and brief the president on the workings of the projects.

It seems you've been trying to do iLords job for him which is NOT the job of a Vice President.

And as much as I like you, I am sorry but you have no real clue what being a president entails. Hell you cant even make it through 30 days as a congressman. If your president, You get stuck in eSingapore no matter what and there is no resign button.

TYJ has a great chance of winning because he is everything eSingapore NEEDS right now.

eSingapore needs a good leader whos not associated or participating in trolling (either on a personal or international level).

eSingapore needs a leader they can trust will do right by the nation and not rob its bank or give access to funds to dishonest people.

eSingapore needs someone whos mature and will not fly off the handle/ban/kick someone for disagreeing with them on trivial topics.


TYJ Meets all of what eSingapore needs. You chewie, do not. You might also want to tell your boy Fruit to keep his piehole shut as every time he opens his mouth on your behalf, the peoples opinion of you goes further down. It follows the old adage, sleep with dogs and you get fleas.

Chewie has the contact that is needed for Singapore to progress, he has the skills and ability to bring Singapore into a greater future

chewchewshoe might joke around sometimes, but he can be serious when he wants to be! he always tries to help me as much as he can! to be honest, and no offence intended, but i've never heard of Teh You Jing, but thats probably because i am kind of new, but i think chewchewshoe would be better. and he wouldnt be AS busy as Teh You Jing becuase of college. Chewie has had my vote from the start and still does.
