Why I am a UIP Member (UIP writing contest)

Day 617, 19:08 Published in USA Canada by Bill Forder

When I was eborn on day 529 of the new world, I felt alone. I couldn't do much and one of the main reasons I joined the game is because I love politics. When I reached level 7 I looked at the parties for which one I was going to join. I was first approached by the Socialist freedom party by there party president. I posted a lot in the forums and their party president thought I had a socialist view. So I joined them but they were not really active, I would post in there forum and nothing would happen, nobody would even respond. I then left to go to a top 5 party. I will be honest, I think I have been in each top 5 party for at least a day. For the may congressional elections I joined the AAP. I ran in New Jersey under the AAP but I never felt at home with them, I never even posted in their forums and so after the election, I left. I then joined the USWP and I liked it. The people where nice and helpful and the forums where active. But for some reason I didn't feel at home. I ran under the USWP against current UIP president Joshua Hoss in the June Wisconsin elections. I won and I stayed with the USWP. The forums seemed less and less active and when they announced the congressional freeze, USWP politics just got boring. I then joined the UIP. This is the only party I hadn't tried and I knew Hoss and it seemed like an organized party with some famous political figures. I then ran for Wisconsin again and Ajay Bruno and his Victory party candidate, Orago almost beat me, we tied but in the end I won because of XP. After the elections I wanted to get more involved with the UIP and since joining the UIP I have been at the highest activity level in my elife. I joined the UIP because the people are great, the leadership is awesome, perfect organization, and most of all just really fun talking to some of these people in the IRC 😉. I think I have finally found my home party and I hope to help the UIP grow and hope to be a member for a long time.
