Why Chamrajnagar should be our next Prime Minister.

Day 1,109, 17:42 Published in Canada Canada by Wilhelm Gunter

My first memory of Chamrajnagar was as a congressman serving my first term in office in November 2009. I had just been elected, and Cham was a Cabinet Member in the William Duncan government. If memory serves me correctly, and I believe it does, he was Finance Minister. Anyhow, Cham was a workhorse. He put in tonnes of effort into his position. I was impressed when he answered Congress’ questions, right down to the last detail. I have no clue who gave him his nickname, but it stuck, and many affectionately began to refer to him as ChamWOW because of his dedication and loyalty to eCanada. If ever there was an eCanadian citizen whose integrity is beyond reproach, this man would be it. He is a man we can all trust. ChamWOW served several terms in Cabinet as Finance Minister, and there was never a hint of impropriety or wrongdoing. His integrity has never been questioned. Effort and commitment are also his middle names. He would not let us down. He would never betray the public trust. He has proven that repeatedly through the high levels of trust he has been given, and come through for eCanada brilliantly.

Contrast this model citizen with the favourite for Sunday’s Prime Ministerial elections, TemujinBC. Now, TemujinBC is also a loyal, patriotic eCanadian. But his approach to this game is far different than ChamWOW’s. Temujin BC, admits that he can be a lulz player. His election ad promotes him as the right balance “of lulz and srs” with the last word referring to ‘serious business’.

However, I don’t want a Prime Minister who openly, or otherwise, espouses lulz. This is not a position which lends itself to that. If we go back in eCanadian history several months ago, TemujinBC used the legal access he had to some government funds (he too was a Cabinet Minister) and gave it out to various players. Granted most of the money was returned by the various players, but the public trust was broken. He had taken money which was not his – this is called theft. He did it for the lulz, especially when you consider the wide spectrum of players he gave it to, as well as the amounts he gave to some of them. Some of, admittedly, was rather humorous. But I don’t want a Prime Minister who is going to do ‘lulzly’ things. I want someone I can trust – someone full of integrity.

Now, there are positive things that TemujinBC has pledged to do – that no other candidate has ever promised (in any other eCanadian election either), and that no other candidate has likely ever been willing to do: spend his own real life money in promoting eCanada and helping us to get a real baby boom – by advertising in the Real Life media in Canada. This is awesome. This would be a real boon to us.

But I cannot advocate a man who can’t be trusted. Will he, at the end of his term(s) in office, walk away leaving everything in tact – CAD, gold, orgs, and newspapers? I don’t know. He has taken advantage of his position and public trust in the past. He has promised a term with a balance of lulz and srs. But the ends do not justify the means. I will not lay down my principles for expediency – for what could be a significant baby boom. Some may call me short-sighted for this, but I want someone I can trust – someone full of integrity.

And for this reason, I will be casting my vote for ChamWOW on Sunday. How about you?
