After Congress shot Glove, Civil Anarchy assures America that he's in charge here now.

Editor's Note: Today's edition of your WHPR will be a brief outline of recent events at The White House. Future editions of this newspaper will cover these and other topics in greater detail, but we felt it important to assure the American people that their government is safe, stable, secure, and under control.
Impeachment and Transition
A game glitch allowed a rogue Congressman to make a third in game Proposal, which he used to Impeach the President. This was done on the last day of Congress' term, so the vote carried over and both the outgoing and incoming bodies of Congress were able to vote on the Proposal. Game mechanics don't count double the number of Congressmen, so between the Enemies of the State who are elected to Congress and others unhappy with President Glove's decisions regarding our alignment in the Admins' Alliance contest, the normal protocol of voting down any Proposal made outside of proper procedure was ignored, and President Glove was soundly Impeached.
Having placed second in the Aug 5 election, Civil Anarchy has been made President of the USA for the remainder of the term.
President Civ extends thanks to Glove and his staff for their gracious and swift transition of power, as passwords and all manner of sekrit stuff is being passed along to the new regime.

The complete list will be published in an upcoming edition of WHPR, but for now let's see who's got the top spots in the Civil Anarchy Cabinet.

Battle of the Alliances
Our benevolent game hosts have responded to President Civ's request to be removed from the contest Alliance which included longtime enemies Hungary, Poland, Spain, United Kingdom, and Serbia. We are now participating in the contest as the Independent Nations. It was hoped that Brozil would also be removed from the 4Fun Alliance as well, but it doesn't look like that happened. The glass is half full-- better'n nothin'.
Media Dept Schedule
This newspaper will, for now, revert to the schedule and format used during Oblige's third and fourth terms-- M-W-F plus a Special Edition on Saturday. We'll hear from Department heads, leaders of Congress, and from the President. We'll sort out WTF happened and WTF is happening next, and keep America apprised of what's going on in your government.
The Pony Express will cover the upcoming POTUS elections, first featuring early candidates' announcements and finishing the term with the final ballot candidates' articles.
eNPR is scheduled to air tomorrow night, Aug 28, at 1800 hours, for a full hour. Also scheduled is a Thursday night show-- same time. Topics will depend on who we get to call in, but we'd like to get details from Congress about the Impeachment process as well as up-to-date news about any MPP shifts in the works. Early POTUS candidates are invited to pitch their presentations without debate, before the Party primaries.
Another classic Bigass POTUS Debate is scheduled for next week Tuesday-- a full two hours, moderated by Cerb and Oblige, with the top final balloted candidates (except Ajay) participating.

So aside from Custer and one other, pretty much its back to the same old people in the same old places. CA had an oppertunity to pick some new faces and to make his cabinet something different with new faces and less of the forum retard fanclub but failed.
I expect the same ol same ol to happen and the eUS to go right back to failing hard.
Civ is only POTUS for a week or so. coming in behind any President, a replacement does well to not be a "lame duck" and this one is definitely not riding out the week on his butt.
doing a major overhaul of Staff for one week of service would be ultimately counterproductive. a few key changes have been made-- yes, known past performers instead of do-nothing cronies.
Civ will leave this Office, and our country, in better condition than he inherited it.
Elect a real President next time, America.

The normal protocol was ignored placing a precedent imo for any impeachment to occur outside of the forums. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

I did what I could with the limited reliable first hand information available to me at the time. I continue to seek out an active, respected, articulate Congressman who was in last term and is repeating this term, who can come on tonight's eNPR show and share a full and proper insight as to what happened.

AA... Im glad you like FISTing everything but you offer no real hope for improvement. Your cabinet thus far is once again a whos who of forums retards or their fanclub. No real effort is made to help any new blood get into the exec world or to push people out who pretty much just get a title and sit on their butt month after month.
