WHPR [Day 1,701] On the Brink of War

So, the US-Canada war rests on the shoulders of the only two congressmen to hold onto their votes. Currently, the vote stands at 34-17, and would require one no vote in order for the NE proposal to fail. Coincidentally, there are still 2 votes un-cast by US Congressmen, meaning, it is possible for the war to fail, but that rests on these two indecisive individuals.

This NE proposal was the response to the one proposed by Canada which, at the moment, is failing in their country. The Canadian Government has accused a United States Congressmen of bribing Code-Y, their ‘speaker’, with 50,000 CC in order to begin this proposal. However, these claims haven’t been backed up by any evidence whatsoever, simply the word of Rylde, an individual known to thrive on War, and recently declared NE on the United Kingdom, and was summarily defeated by the overwhelming ONE forces aligned against him. He’s a leader that has shown he cares not for the probability of victory, but rather, the fun of the fight. The Canadian Government refuses to release even the name of the US Congressman accused of this, and has resorted to coincidental arguments to justify their claim, saying that the speed at which the US returned the NE proposal indicated some sort of malfeasance, ignoring the fact that Congressmen are notified at the exact moment an NE is declared by an enemy country. This is little more than a ploy by Rylde to start yet another unwinnable, ‘entertaining’ war, something he’s stated he would do, even to our own SoS on multiple occasions, ever since the CTRL fiasco.

If, in the case that the NE passes and our coinciding MPPs are voided out, we will be resigning them as soon as possible. Proposals will be sent out to currently allied countries, and the administrations of current allies are being contacted by our Vice President of Communications to inform them of the situation, and ensure the MPPs are resigned. This is in no way a shift to ONE, or an excuse to be signing ONE MPPs. We will be continuing our support of Croatia in their efforts against Serbia, and Germany in their efforts against the United Kingdom, throughout this entire process. Our Foreign Policy stance is Neutral, and it will remain Neutral.

eNPR, an American Blog Talk Radio program run by the eUnited States Government, is nearing it’s 1 year anniversary on August the 13th. It runs episodes regarding eAmerican and International issues on a regular basis, every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 PM EST/7PM EST. Everyone important in the government, from the President, to the Cabinet Members, to the regular American Citizen, can be brought on as a guest, or a host to the program. The best part about this medium of conversation is the fact that anyone is allowed to call in, and speak to the various guests and hosts about whatever topic interests them. It serves as a direct line of communication between the populace, and the leaders, to the extent that you can literally talk to them personally. Plus, it’s always interesting to hear what someone actually sounds like. There are a few pretty surprising voices out there!
