Operation Asian Dream

Late Thursday night our ally Philippines threw away their MPP stack by attacking Hawaii in the first step of a long and involved plan to get Croatia access to Resources found in Asia. The end result would have had Croatia holding regions on three continents.

Unfortunately, eRepublik issues have caused the Asian Dream to be a nightmare. Rounds 4 and 5 were bugged, and then rounds 5 through 8 didn't happen at all. Early Friday morning Operation Asian Dream was cancelled by all involved, and the military minds will return to the drawing board.

Most difficult in planning any military strategy is the unknown factor of the reliability and stability of the game itself. Whether this was a good plan or not, whether it might have succeeded or not, will not be known because the platform on which we play is so severely flawed.





EPIC Alliance, Epic Fail?

As reported in -Republic of Wadiya-: Erepublik Partnership of Interdependent Countries!, several small, weak and even non-existent ONE alliance nations have formed a new alliance.

The total combined assets of these nations is less than the personal assets of many individual players. Nonetheless, leaders of these nations feel they'll get a fair shake by working together separate from their more powerful ONE partners.

While this newspaper will not go so far as to repeat the cheer to Hail this alliance, we will wish EPIC a heartfelt "good friggin' luck-- you'll need it!"



Six Star Fraud Impersonates Allied Leadership

In two recent articles, class clown Ajay the Pizza Cartman has represented himself to Austria and Bulgaria as "Supreme Commander of EDEN-TERRA Unified Command and on behalf of all true eAmericans."

A quick survey of actual US, Eden and Terra leaders clarified that this piece of work does not, in fact, represent anything but his own warped ideals and agenda.

US POTUS Oblige: "The danger lies in this master deceiver's ability to sell his snake oil to new players, and to discontented players, because he tells them what they want to hear. Lies are believed to be true if left un-refuted, and this problem is not going to go away by ignoring it."
US Vice Pres Leroy Combs: "We would not be getting involved in internal governmental politics of any countries unless requested, and to my knowledge help has not been requested."
US SecDef Gnilraps:"The internet is a place where anyone can say anything and someone will believe it. Ajay thrives off of this by lying and preying on new players' eagerness to get involved. He is not involved in the eUS Department of Defense in any capacity whatsoever and he should be eShot on eSight."
US SecState Evry: "Ajay Bruno is a nobody who makes himself out to be a somebody. He capitalizes on the evil desires of our enemies by promising them access to our borders. He is properly loved by most enemies to the eUSA. He is properly hated everywhere else."
US National Security Council Chairman Ralph Ericson: "I am officially stating that Ajay/Pizza/Cartman/Lord High Douchenozzle the Whatever-character-number-he-is-on has no relationship on behalf of the US government to EDEN or TERRA. Nor any other relationship that I know of."
Terra Secretary General Dermont: "As SG of Terra I would know who is in my HQ. I would never have this guy on my staff."
Terra Supreme Commander kev2969: "I don't really pay attention to what this guy says, and I don't think Austria and Bulgaria do care about him, either. Most of times, there are other people to tell them the truth."
Eden Supreme Commander Oles: "Bulgaria voted yes for Turkey's invitation to Eden, and had months of Non-Aggression Pact with Turkey before that. It's a totally fabricated problem."

In fairness, this newspaper also contacted Ajay the Pizza Cartman, and asked why he's going around claiming to be something he is not.
Ajay: I appointed myself months ago. my friends kept bugging me to promote myself. I was like no no I am just a 5 star general, I am humble. But they insisted I take a 6th star, so I formed the ETUC.
WHPR: ahh... the ETUC... Eden/Terra Unified Command... is a specific term.. like trademarking the name Freedos for a new corn chip. If people only hear it, they think "Fritos." And if it's packaged and marketed smart, Fritos customers will be taking Freedos off the shelf.
Ajay: Yes, haha!

So, you see, this dovetails neatly with his false claim to be a Conservative American Patriot, in that these are "key word triggers" which resonate with people to attract supporters even though they are simply not true.
While it is not our desire to grant Ajay any more spotlight, it is our duty to shed light on such a blatant plot to deceive players. It is our hope that players will sense that "something's just not right, here" and will investigate before throwing support behind this or any wolf in sheep's clothing.
