Who would like to come along for the ride?

Greetings Bros,

Its been far too long since I've written an article in erepublik, so even though I could totally be using this time to free Skyrim from a corrupt and dying Empire (Stormcloaks forever) I am going to try and write a halfway decent article.

If you are a regular subscriber to my paper then you should probably know that I like to start my paper off with a Bro Tip. Now most of the time I just use one that I think is actually good advice or that I found funny, however on rare occasions I actually try to find a bro tip that relates to current events ongoing in erepublik, as is the case today. I chose number 3050 because as with most bro tips it is brilliant in its simplicity, and I believe it offers great advice on how we should conduct our foreign affairs moving forward.

With the breakdown of EDEN (finally) there are many countries in the world that are looking for a new home, and unless we show them that a Pro-CoT stance will be to their benefit we could find ourselves the weaker of two alliances in a once again bi-polar world.

For this reason we must be proactive in providing a compelling argument for the former nations of EDEN to choose US of THEM. I believe that if we want to successfully court some of these EDEN nations we need to do more than simply provide a logical argument about our ability to coordinate damage and support. Don't get me wrong, those things are super important and there is a place for them. However I think that it is much more important that we show them that we can have fun together, something that in its absence makes all the other stuff rather pointless. We need to give this alliance and more importantly this game some meaning again, something that makes it worth playing.

I started playing this game in October of 2009, it was at the end of WWIII, and I had joined to help rid my country of foreign oppression. So once we were free what made me stay? I stayed because during that time I heard a quote about how Croatia had come to our aid. A Croatian remarked that the entire Croatian military had been mobilized to move to America and help us fight our invaders, but so great was the support we received from them that in response an American said in disbelief that it seemed as if the entire nation had come to support us. It was because of this that I kept playing this game, and it was because of this that when Croatia was under attack I would stay up past 3 AM just so I could get a few more fight in for them, even though in those days(and these ones) my damage was paltry. I stayed up past 3 AM even though it was annoying because back then this game actually had some meaning. Because even when a car is full and crowded and uncomfortable or the economy module is broken and the media module is dead, when your with your friends it doesn't matter, there's always more room in the car.

So lets do something fun again America, and screw the consequences, because when you look back at the time you spent playing this game, are you going to remember the month where you had stability, or the month where maybe everything didn't go your way, but you made the best of it anyway and had a few laughs with your friends that decided to come along for the ride?
