Who will represent you in Congress?

Day 884, 15:22 Published in Belgium Belgium by Aldous Zamiatin

Fellow eBelgians,

On the 25th of April you will receive the opportunity to gain an extra experience point by voting in the Congressional elections, but there is more to it than that - you will be choosing the person who you trust to represent your interests in Congress. This person will be one of the 30 people deciding about the taxes in this country, the governemental spendings, amendments to our Constitution, granting citizenships,... So it's pretty important you use your vote right.

I'm hoping to convince you that I could be one of the 30 representatives, as one of the candidates for Res Belgica in Brussels. These are the reasons I think I'm fit for the job:

- I'm committed and quite active. Since I arrived in eRepublik, I haven't missed a day at work (156 days in a row and counting). I try to follow the events in eBelgium and formulate a personal opinion, participating in discussions in the media and on the national forum.
- I've built up some experience during the last couple of months. My time as the Commissioner for Health and Social Sevices for the Res Belgica party brought me sufficient skills and knowledge about assisting new players, which came in handy during my term as Minister of Home Affairs under the former president Elynea.
- Living in eRepublik I've always tried to adher to the ideals of honesty, solidarity and integrity. I'd like to see those ideals being the building blocks of eBelgian democracy and neutrality.
- I am always available if you could use a listening ear, a helping hand or a manly hug 😉

If my presentation didn't convince you, then you should deffinitely consider these guys on election day: (click on the names to read their presentations)

Rithulme (Res Belgica, Brussels)
Helviro (Res Belgica, Flanders)
stonix (Res Belgica, Wallonia)
(you'll find Res Belgica's platform here)

but also this guy:
Gibberish45 (Belgium for Belgians, Wallonia)

If you have any questions about this presentation, any suggestions or comments, please post them below or just send me a personal message.

Thank you for your attention,

Aldous Zamiatin
