This is one of the most interesting elections I've seen since I've been in eSA.
3 Misfits going for CP and just enough confusion and cultural intolerance to make almost any of them an outcast.
Marmaduke IV - ~The Honorable Arch Bishop Dr. Marmaduke Exilious Alphonso IV, Sr, OB/GYN. Who is he? What are his credentials. Those who know him, know that he's active on IRC, active on the forums and is usually able to do whatever he wants and get away with it. Since his return, he's spent months trying to clear his tarnished name. He even lost to Cody Caine in PP elections like 1 to 10 in what many expected to be a close race.
The Macedonian Warior - Since his arrival, TMW has been a good part of our community, always keeping us up to date on rewards among contests and competitions, he has a good knowledge of the game. The questions revolving around him come from a lack of knowledge. Most people who know him, KNOW that he's a great guy, but he hasn't made himself known or available on the forums. (I can't speak for IRC as I'm not on it enough anymore) I don't know his connections or who his friends are in other countries. Most people knew thekoki fairly well (his VP) so at least he has a strong backing.
cemmo - A higher up within the ranks of the Lazocrats. If he has a platform, I haven't read it. At least not in English, and I've grown exhausted of translating articles so I just ignore them anymore. Personally, I see cemmo as spiteful and headstrong. Even more-so than Leon. Whereas Leon had plans and aspirations, I think that cemmo only has spite and bitterness going along his his head. I've dealt with many of the Lazocrats, and I would argue that many of them possess the leadership ability to be CP. Tifonus, for one is a good, strong leader, who is able to communicate reasonably and unspiteful. Cemmo is just not country leadership material when it comes to the Lazocrats.
skquall - He is Skquall
All 3 of the candidates have been called PTOers. The Macedonians, less than a year ago. The Lazocrats Currently, and I'm pretty sure Marmaduke was one of the only formerly successful PTO's of eSA.
This Election is a GREAT starting point to see who really does have malicious intent and who doesn't.
My Endorsement Marmaduke IV
While I think TMW is also a strong candidate, I think that the accessibility of Marmaduke IV and his past experience is very beneficial. Plus he's brash in his thoughts against being owned by a foreign country and his campaign has revolved around the acceptance of the Lazocrasi. Something which I have succumbed to. Our fighting with them has grown tiring and they have proven that they just want their army here, with very little malicious intent.
If South Africa is to be united under one banner, I think Marmaduke is the best choice. If cemmo wins, it would cause more divisiveness, not because of him, but just because of the communal outrage and cheating accusations. TMW sees the Lazocrats as PTOers, which is a good alternative to vote for if you also see this.
Marmaduke for CP is my battle cry, however.
(This being said, I would like to help and support whichever CP gets elected in whatever capacity they need me to.)

I personally the TMW is more emotionally stable. You need a cool head to prevail when leading South Africa. Everything is a struggle which requires perseverance.

I back winners. I don't back their terms. Leon, myself, Ejdatful, Grimstone, Tenshibo, Al Kazar, Wilpanzer. I've supported them all. They all got elected.

Politics is manipulation
The mere fact that you differentiate between winning elections and winning terms speaks volumes. The point of elections is to improve South Africa. If all you see it is as winning a bet as to who will get more votes, you are expressing your disdain for a functional society. This makes me sad and would deeply disturb me if I were MIV.
Half those people on your list created a leadership vacuum that sent us reeling. In fact, it could be argued that we would have done better with no president during their terms.
I prefer to back people who can do more than incite crisis, even if they do lose the election. Backing the right person for the job is more important than calling the poll. To think otherwise is to be contemptuous of yourself and your society and to declare you have no standards. So tell me why Marma will be the best leader, and not why he will get the most votes.

I have seen no public denunciation from Lazo's on the use of multi's by their members, and as such is not welcome. There can not be any integration of the cheats. If Marma still stand for integration of the Lazo's despite them still having and using multi's. Then my vote will go elsewhere.
How can one have a hardliner stance on bully nations but accept cheats? Nope not acceptable.
When introducing the Fresh Start Initiative I stated the following:
"All current Lazokrat eSA citizens will be given this fresh start. If they want to keep these rights, they must follow the rules of procedures that all other citizens are expected to follow. That means proper congressman decorum, following citizenship approval procedures, and respecting the rules and laws of Erepublik, which include the creation of multi accounts."
Ok so it would be cool if they are a member of the group who create and condone the use of multi's, nor that they support the group so long they do not do it themselves. Foolish, as you know since it will only be a hand full who actually creates the multi's. If the group does not publicly denounce the use and stop creating and using existing multi's then the danger is EXACTLY what it is now. A group who will clearly do what they want when they want. Maybe if a Lazy leaves the illegal group one can still consider your suggestion, else one is fooling one self.

We have the most experienced management team , we have contacts all aroun the world which can improve eSA in the stage of eWorld. We can enough military and diplomatic power to roll the eWorld with our cooperate friends & countries. eSouth Africa'll rise up with us on the eWorld. Everyone seen eSouth Africa as 3th class country but we'll show them eSouth Africa has the 1st class capacity...

As long as Marmaduke snuggles with and supports the Lazzos, he won't get very far in eSA.
Some history can be forgiven, but never forgotten by too many people, and therefor I feel rather sorry for Marmaduke, because he does try very hard to make good his bad history in eSA
Giving them the chance to be treated as equals is not "snuggling up and supporting them". Nice of you to just show back and and make false accusations of me again. Ask around, especially when I was MoS who I "snuggled up with", how many Lazokrats I took away forum rights from. I was the one that had the balls to even remove Leon's rights.
There's a point at which you have to realize when a strategy is not working and when it's time to change things up.
But you, like many here in eSA, refuse to change with the times and that is what has always dragged eSA down. Electing leaders out of nothing but nostalgia, playing victim, frowning upon immigration. All of this holds eSA back from its true potential.

BTW I for one said we should give the Lazzo's a chance to show their willingness to work with us, but they ignored the offer and kept on making multi's and tried to PTO about all the parties.
You ask them something, you get no reply, but then I see some folks tell us how they communicate with the Lazzo's and how efficient they are, now I wonder where we can see that?
I don't play people for a fool, I play honest, but sometimes that honesty gets me in trouble. I say what I feel, If I don't like you, I will say so, and I won't elect someone just for the sake of nostalgia.
I support someone because that person has something I believe in, he is someone I can trust. I don't bear grudges, it's not my nature to do so.
My loyalty is to eSA, and I will do what I can to keep her safe from harm. If we have to change to do it, then so be it. I have never been scared or refused to change with the times.
I don't chop and change how and who I support in the game.
Your loyalty is to eSA and so you support a candidate that has never been on IRC, doesn't write articles, only has 7 posts ever on the forums. You're such a patriot. Just like the people who put Tenshibo in office.
When last have you seen me on IRC? The time when issues were discussed where everyone could take part is long gone, or am I mistaken? I logged on for quite some time and no one even said 'Hi' back. Even the forum has lost its appeal.
I know a lot more about The Macedonians then I know about the Lazzocratz. At least I can communicate with them and they haven't tried to take over our parties. So far they have proved their value and their integrity, which is more than I can say about the Lazzos.
I might be wrong, and I would like to give the Lazzos a chance, but so far they have not proven themselves.

You know, I'm seeing a lot of faces popping up that I haven't seen in months. If you all have been so "anti-PTO" maybe you should have been here during the key months when they were gaining majority of congress or winning 3 party president elections
If we care "So Much" about our country, maybe we should do something other than feel entitled about it.
When I was a small child I used to enter dark rooms with my head facing the ground or the nearest wall. It was easier stumbling around looking for the light switch than facing what the darkness may have held. I see the same mentality very much in eSA. It's easier to go 2-clicking and disobey orders and directives from the government than to man up and face the truth.

I don't hate that everyone is still here. What I hate is how they choose to come and go. Wilpanzer once said I took the easy way out and left UP when things got tough. It's true. But what I haven't done is never not been part of this community. I don't hate that people voice their opinions. I hate that they DONT voice their opinions ever.

Where is everyone? If we wish to continue blaming Leon, fine. But we love pouting and blaming someone else. Henock may be stupid, Marmaduke may be greasy, niffobti may be a traitor and I may be a wishy washy prick, but when it's all said and done, we are the voices of this country. Until others speak up, no one knows what anyone wants or is planning and we are going to lose the country.
It might not be an autocracy, but it sure as hell isn't a democracy. It's a blame game and pretending it's anything different is naive. I'm planning on helping our next CP. What are you planning? (General question not directed solely at anyone)
