Dear Israeli,

He is well known as a direct, no-nonsense guy with a winners mentality. Although he has a short-fuse his priority is clear and straightforward; Israel. I was in the lucky circumstance to have a moment with our MoD and vCP and ask him some questions.

Without further ado, our Minister of Defense and Vice President; Meow2!

Please tell something about yourself, your RL age, what you like to do in your free time, outside eRepublik?

Well, my name is Amit, and i'll be turning 16 a bit, which is young in eRep standards, old in eIsrael standards. I live in a city next to Tel Aviv, from internetwise, i have been around it since i remember myself. Spent countless hours on FPS's, TPS's and other stuff. I prefer the word 'Gamer' though,lol. Other than that i am training and i like wrestling in a amateur kind of way.

Alright, and how did you find this game, and where did you start of? Did you find Israel an interesting country or where there deeper motivations to be in eIsrael?

I found this game 1.5 year ago in FXP (Yeah, FXP) when 'Israel is being attacked by Cyprus', i joined in, and the game was taking my attention. There was alot of cool folks in it, some less, some more. I enjoyed playing under OJ's and Sidewinder terms, first two presidents i got to see. It was a hell of a time and i miss those moments, honestly.

You have been living abroad quite some time, what was the reason for leaving Israel?

Well, we can all agree on that there's a lot of Immature kids inside eIsrael which is 'lowering' from our 'standard'. But not only that, sometimes you kind of sick from being in the same place (at least me), which was one of my reasons why i was outside Israel for quite a time; Which brought me to Greece, USA, Ireland, Bulgaria, and such.

Which lessons or experience you gained outside Israel would you like to implement in the Israeli society?

Gained - Alot. Things which we can implement them - A Few. For Example, barley no communication between the President and the Congress. We don't have to pick any Chairman or however you call it, in my opinion elected President should first add all of the Congress Members into his friends list And mass PM them all and the cabinet for Congress threads - which will include updates, about laws (Yes / No / Troll Proposals) and make them a little bit more involved. There's alot more i can say from Military wise and Society wise, but first, lets do the minimum.

Without patting myself on the back, but thats how I communicated with Congress in my term, anyhow how do you see Israel in let's say 3 to 4 months?

If there will be a chain of good terms from here - Winning more easily the KSA RW's, Israel will have around 200 fighters which will be an improvement (150 according to egov now); Stronger foreign relations, and maybe some guys who will make eAllyia. But, Its up for our choice, the president we'll elect to lead us on these interesting times.

Alright, its not a secret that Roai and you always have,...uhm discussions in articles and comments, especially about your functioning as MoD. What is the reason he dislikes you so much in your opinion?

To be honest, never cared, never will care. I believe reasons are obvious, if a guy continues to stick around you and bother you, seems he have some kind of obsession to you. I started to ignore some time ago and doesn't really get involved in anymore. I won't say more unless you want to see 80 philosophical comments in your article, i don't, so i will finish here..

What is your view of our current eIDF?

In one word - good. Of course there's always ways to improve, which i strongly recommend on and we implementing it. Lately we brought back Sayeret Matkal and took (still taking) all of our 'Elites' into one mobile unit with high moral and strength. Boot camp is also going to be open up soon, and as you can guess, all of the newbies will be there (The active ones we have) and will educate them about the game mechanics, History of eIsrael and such i believe. As the time moves so does our National Army.

What would you call you "Golden Moment" in eRepublik till so far?

The one i enjoyed and laughed my ass off in RL? No doubt, the NE on FYROM and winning against them, Arik impeaching himself from CP. Sorry, it was a sweet victory AND we got to conquer UAE 2 weeks after. No doubt - Remember the 9 of June! Good times.

Could you describe your current job as MoD and vCP?

Hmm... Well, both are about the same job, taking care of battles being secure, make sure all of the ministries are functioning well which is the MUST those days, other than that going to the tea meetings of EDEN (If you get what i mean) and improving our foreign relations; Bring mercenaries even when it comes to my own pocket to win battles and make us look good, making sure the citizens is always understanding what's going, and all of this comes to hard working!

Would you say Israel has an "old boys network" or a few connected people who are the puppet-masters?

Definitely, not. I don't see even one who is like that and having a success on the international levels. Also, you can see that the those who are never related to those guys. 'Nuff said.

What are our biggest challenges in coming CP period as a nation in your eyes?

Well, i will answer this question as things which need to be the next President's goals. Winning the RW's easier, -having- new and active players; Babyboom is a big word, raising up our daily income, improving the eIDF and making a President - Cabinet - Congress mass PM as i said! Those are the main ones.

Amit, you are know to have a bit of a short fuse, which isn't the best trade for a CP. What are according to you the best characteristics for a good Country President?

First off i agree with you. I'm not showing much of a tact but be sure i have when it needs. Secondly, i do believe that the President needs to be a guy who listen to his people, having friends around the globe and a military man. Not one who is flattering himself and can't respect others. It needs to be a man who can really lead a whole country and not just saying big and empty words.

Any tips or remarks you want to add to this interview or tell the nation?

Be yourself and not the man you aren't.

בבקשה תאמר משהו על עצמך, הגיל שלך בחיים האמיתיים, מה אתה אוהב לעשות בזמן החופשי שלך, מחוץ לאירפבליק?

קוראים לי עמית ובקרוב אני בן 16, צעיר בסטנדרטים של אירפבליק, גדול בסטנדרטים של אי-ישראל. אני גר בעיר ליד תל אביב, לגבי האינטרנט, אני בזה מאז שאני זוכר את עצמי. בזבזתי אינספור שעות במשחקים מגוף ראשון, גוף שלישי, ובעוד דברים שאני אוהב לעשות. אני מעדיף את המושג גיימר אבל, חח. חוץ מזה אני מתאמן במכון ואני אוהב האבקות בצורה חובבנית.

אוקי, ואיך גילית על המשחק, ואיפה התחלת? מצאת את ישראל מדינה מעניינת או מדינה בה מניעים עמוקים יותר להיות באי-ישראל?

שמעתי על המשחק פעם ראשונה מאף אקס פי (כן, אף אקס פי) כאשר 'ישראל נתקפת ע"י קפריסין', נרשמתי למשחק וזה לקח את תשומת ליבי. היו הרבה אנשים נחמדים לדבר איתם, חלקם יותר, חלקם פחות. נהנתי לשחק תחת הקדנציות של אוקטביוס יוליוס וסיידווינר, שני הנשיאים הראשונים שיצא לי להכיר. זה היה הזמן הכי כיף במשחק ואני מתגעגע לרגעים האלה, בכנות.

חיית לא מעט זמן מחוץ לישראל, מה הייתה הסיבה?

טוב, כולנו יכולים להסכים שיש הרבה ילדים חסרי בגרות בתוך אי-ישראל שמורידים מה'רמה'. אבל לא רק זה, לפעמים גם אתה מרגיש שזה דיי מאוס להשאר באותו מקום הרבה זמן (לפחות בשבילי), שהייתי אחד הסיבות שעזבתי; שהביא אותי ליוון, ארה"ב, אירלנד, בולגריה, וכו..'

מה למדת או התנסת בו בזמן שלך בחו"ל והיית רוצה שיפעל גם כך במדינה?

למדתי - הרבה. דברים שאפשר להוציא לפועל - קצת. לדוגמה, כמעט ואין תקשורת בין הנשיא שלנו לכנסת. אנחנו לא צריכים לבחור שום יושב ראש או איך שלא תקרא לזה, לדעתי הדבר הראשון שהנשיא הנבחר צריך לעשות זה להוסיף את כול חברי הכנסת לחברים שלי, ולשלוח לכולם הודעה גדולה אחת כולל עם הקבינט שלו - ששם יהיה עדכונים, הצבעה על חוקים (כן / לא / הצעת טיפשית) ולגרום להם תחושה של טיפה יותר מעורבים. יש עוד הרבה דברים מבחינה צבאית וחברתית, אבל קודם בואו נעשה את המינימום

איך אתה רואה את ישראל בוא נגיד בעוד 3 או 4 חודשים?

אם תהיה שרשרת טובה של נשיאים מפה - מנצחים את המרדים בצורה יותר חלקה, ישראל תהיה מדינה בעלת 200 לוחצים (בסביבות 150 לפי אגוב עכשיו); יחסי חוץ חזקים, ואולי קצת אנשים שיעשו אי-עלייה. אבל זה הכול יושפע מהבחירה שלנו, הנשיאים שנבחר שינהיגו אותנו בזמנים המעניינים האלה.

אוקיי, זה לא סוד שאתה ורואי תמיד הייתם...אממ, דיונים בכתבות ותגובות, במיוחד עליך מתפקד בתור שר בטחון. מה הסיבה שהוא לא אוהב אותך מאוד לדעתך?

את האמת, לא היה אכפת לי ולא יהיה אכפת לי. אבל אני מאמין שהסיבות ברורות, אם בן אדם ממשיך להדבק אליך ולהציק לך, זה אומר שיש לו אובססיה אליך. התחלתי להתעלם מלפני זמן ולא מגיב לו כבר. אני לא יגיד עוד אלא עם כן אתה רוצה לראות 80 תגובות פילוסופיות במאמר שלך, אני לא אז אני אסיים כאן.

מה אתה חושב על צה"ל הנוכחי?

במילה אחת - טוב. ברור שתמיד יש אפשריות לשיפור, שאני ממליץ עליהם בחוזק ואנחנו עדיין עובדים עליהם. לאחרונה החזרנו את סיירת מטכ"ל ולקחנו (ועדיין לוקחים) את כול 'ה'חיילים שלנו ליחידה ניידת עם מורל וחוזק גבוה. יחידת המתחילים הולכת להיפתח גם בקרוב, וכמו שאתה מנחש כול השחקנים החדשים יהיו שם (לפחות אלה שיש לנו) ויחנכו אותם שם על המכניקות של המשחק ועל ההיסטוריה של ישראל אני מאמין. ככול שהזמן זז גם כך ההתקדמות שלנו.

את מה היית מכנה 'הרגע הכי טוב שלך' במשחק עד עכשיו?

הדבר שגרם לי להנות ולבכות מצחוק? בלי ספק ההצעת אויב טבעי על מקדוניה ולנצח נגדם. אלי מדיח את עצמו מלהיות נשיא. מצטער אבל זה היה ניצחון מצחיק. אפילו שבועיים אחרי זה הצלחנו לכבוש את האיחוד. בלי ספק - תזכרו את ה9 ביוני! זמנים טובים.

האם תוכל לתאר את העבודה שלך בתור שר בטחון וסגן נשיא?

אממ... שניהם אותו הדבר בערך. לדאוג שאנחנו מנצחים בקרבות, לדאוג שכול המשרדים פועלים ועובדים שזה -חובה- בימים האלה, חוץ מזה ללכת ל'פגישות התה' של עדן אם אתה מביא אותי, לשפר את היחסי החוץ שלנו; ואפילו לדאוג לשכירי חרב גם אם זה מגיע מהכיס שלי. לגרום לנו להראות טוב ולדאוג שכולם מבינים את המצב הנוכחי, כול זה בא לעבודה קשה

האם תוכל להגיד שלישראל יש ילדים שהם גם שולטי הבובות וגם אנשים מקושרים עם יחסי חוץ?

בלי ספק, לא. אני לא רואה אחד שהוא כזה ומצליח ברמות הבינלאומיות. גם, תוכל לראות שאלה שכן בחיים לא התקשרו אליהם. אמרתי מספיק.

מה האתגרים הכי גדולים שיהיו למדינה בחודש הבחירות הבא לדעתך?

אני אענה על השאלה הזאת בתור המטרות של הנשיא הבא. לנצח את המרדים בצורה יותר חלקה כמו שאמר, עוד שחקנים חדשים; בייביבום זה מילה גדולה. הגדלת ההכנסות היומיות שלנו, שיפור צה"ל וליצור הודעה בין הנשיא - קבינט - והקונגרס כמו שאמרתי! אלה הראשיים.

עמית, אתה ידוע בתור אחד שיש לו פתיל קצר, שזה לא התכונה הכי טובה בשביל נשיא. מה לדעתך התכונות עם הכי צורך בשביל להיות נשיא טוב?

קודם כול אני מסכים איתך. אני לא מראה הרבה טאקט אבל תהיה בטוח שיש לי את זה. שנית, אני מאמין שבשביל להיות נשיא אתה צריך להיות אחד שמקשיב לאנשים שלו, עם קשרים מכול רחבי העולם ואיש צבאי. לא אחד שמחמיא לעצמו ולא יכול לכבד את האחר. זה צריך להיות אדם אשר יכול להנהיג מדינה ולא רק אומר מילים גדולות וריקות.
