Dear Israeli,

Today I have had an interview with a personal friend of mine, and a friend of many people in Israel. The interview actually turned out to be a conversation between 2 old friends, and which is obvious in Johnny's answers.
Although he doesn't need any introduction, I will introduce him using adjectives and short phrases which fellow erepublikians use to describe him:
"Living legend, national mentor, best MoFa ever, Greekaeli, great guy and friend of Israel" are just a few of them.

Israel, I present you John TG!

Please tell something about yourself, your RL age, what you like to do in your free time, outside eRepublik?

First of all Joe, I want to thank you for this interview. It's really an honor for me to be interviewed from a living legend of eIsrael like you.
My name is John, age 32, I'm Greek in my rl, living in Athens, Greece.
In my free time (except erepublik) I like video games (Pro Evolution Soccer FTW), going out with friends for drinks (the usual stuff). Also I like modelism (especially modern jets).By the way, I’m creating an F-16 Block 40 "Barak". Soon it will be ready, I will publish the pictures of it in my article and I will dedicate it to all Israeli people.

John, a question everyone asks himself/herself so once in a time, what is the reason that you as Real Life Greek decided to come to Israel?

I'm playing this game almost for 3,5 years. The first 1,5 years I was playing for Greece and the next 2 years I have settled in Israel. For certain reasons I moved to Israel and I made "my aliyah" because of my love for this country. It's my second homeland. I love Israel as much as Greece so after I left Greece Israel was my first (and last) destination for me.

It is common knowledge that Israeli are not really thankful or appreciate their hero's, so could you elaborate where your motivation comes from?

To be honest, I will disagree with this. For sure, there are people who are not thankful and they are not appreciating their heroes but I suppose that these people are the minority. The majority are very good and smart persons, they welcomed me and they are showing their hospitality and their love on daily basis. It's known that the majority of Israeli players are young (under 18 years old), so sometimes their "jumping hormones" lead them to quick decisions. But I love these kids, sometimes I think that we (the elders) are their e-fathers. They need guidance to show their full potentials. This is my motivation. After all, I haven’t asked for anything by anyone. I suppose that this is the definition of "true dedication", giving without expecting, sacrifice.

You have served under really bad Governments as MoFa and really good ones, which administration in Israel would you call the most constructive?

Honestly, I have served as MoFA under bad and good governments. For me, the definition of a bad government is the government who includes inactive players (and of course inactive president). Also, a bad government (and a bad president) is the one who doesn’t care about his people but for his own credits. I wouldn’t criticize a president who is active and tries for his people, even if he makes mistakes and takes wrong decisions. This is my job after all, to help them and advise them with my experience to get the correct decisions. This is the reason that almost all presidents asked me to be their MoFA. A good government is affected by the activity of its president and its ministers. According to this, I think that the most constructive government was Joe’s month. Also, Rickolas and his ministers are doing a great job in this month.

Well, John could you please stop mentioning my name in your answers?
It is no secret John, that your contacts and reputation in Greece, Cyprus and EDEN has kept Israel on the map through the years, do you see any successors in our nation?

I’m helping as much as I can with my relations in Greece, Cyprus (we are speaking the same language so basically this is helping me a lot) and EDEN for the glory of Israel. I know that Israel isn’t a strong country so my job is getting harder to promote Israel’s interests inside the alliance. I think that Israeli representatives in EDEN must not show weakness. Before days (about the Turkish occupation), I became annoying and not pleasant to EDEN HQ but finally we asked for justice and we achieved our goals (liberation of original regions of Israel). I’m sure that Israel has many successors, active and smart persons. Rickolas, danis1982, SandalaiM, Axazel, Eynpahad, dpdevil, giladrubin, tsahi K, meow2, liransin, romshaked, orior50, kiochan, Roai, Augustus Grim are some of the names. The future of Israel.

Could you describe a typical working day as MoFa of Israel?

There are some days that my job is not so hard. The last months, Israel didn’t have any conflicts with other nations, so basically my job was pretty easy. I’m checking the mpps, advising and informing the president about world’s conflict, contacting with other MoFAs and Presidents promoting good relations and Israel’s interests.
But some days, my job is really hard. Especially when Israel has some conflict with another country (if this nation is ally is harder). My job the last days was really hard, because of the conflict we had with Turkey, so my appearance in EDEN channels was necessary.

What would you like to see changed in our community or mentality?

Israeli people are known, around the world, about their solidarity to each other. I want to see this in action. To be honest, lately this has started to happen but I want to see more. Help each other, donate your congress medal (5 gold) to the country. We are not a rich country. I fully understand that most of our players are not gold buyers and sometimes they struggle to buy even their daily food and weapons. So, this is our chance, help each other for the glory of Israel. Also, I’m really annoyed when Israel (or EDEN) has an important battle and I see Israeli fighters fighting for mercenary medals or battle heroes. How should I ask for help from EDEN (or other allies) when we are not helping them when they need it?

Johnny, I have to ask you this question; according to some rumors from somewhat trustable sources you really like to "give blowjobs". Could you....uhm, elaborate some more about this certain topic?

LOOOOOL. What a funny day that was in our Sayeret Matkal channel. But you tricked me! My English isn’t so good, so I was trying to explain to you one of my sexual experiences. I tried to translate the Greek phrase immediately to English without thinking the translation. Basically, in Greek language, when a girl gives to a man a blwjob, we would say “Hey guys, today I gave a blwjob”. I tried without thinking the English translation, to tell you this….and then you were laughing for hours!!! LOOOOL!!!

Is there anyone or perhaps a few people who you admire, or lets say have your highest respect?

I respect a lot of people in erepublik. I like their game style, their attitude and their personality. First of all, I have great respect for our best fighter and leader of Israel Joe Franco. You have never abandoned Israel (even in “dark” months of Israel). Also, I have great respect for the 2 greatest fighters and “leaders” of Greece, Geokos and exohoritis. They are known about the guidance to the rest of the players.

Ok, I warned you before, stop mentioning me. But about Geokos and Exohoritis I completely agree. Exohoritis has my highest respect. The man is my personal hero, but tell us when are we going to see John TG as Country President?

Honestly, for me the Country President doesn’t mean anything important. It is another medal in my profile. In some governments I have been the country president without getting the credit or the medal. I suppose everyone can be the country president by helping its country. After all, the president stays for 1 month but Israel exists for ever. I don’t like the people who were elected presidents and the next month they were disappeared. Someone is becoming president to serve Israel, not to serve his personal ego or for his personal credits or for the medal. Unfortunately we have seen some of them doing this. I want to see someone be elected president and the next month to become supplier of eIDF or supplier for new players. About my candidacy for president, I haven’t thought this yet. Maybe some of the next months I will try it.

Talking about Country Presidents, what are according to you, the best characteristics for a good Country President?

Personally, I think that a good president is the one who cares for his people more than he cares for himself. He must inform the people constantly even if he made wrong decisions or mistakes. Tell the truth, lead and guide them with honor. Also, a good and active cabinet is crucial for his success. One man cannot do all the things by himself.

In your personal view, does Israel have an Elite or a top segment of players?

Of course Israel has an Elite group of players. In military, before some months we had only 1 GoW, but lately we have seen a lot of players becoming GoWs. This is good for Israel. I want to see all the strong players to come back to Israel. Personally, I don’t care about their citizenship (of course it will be good to take the Israeli citizenship too) but I’m talking about their appearance in Israeli matters. I can understand that some of them are taking another citizenship for the bonuses, I did that too. But I don’t like when we need some D4 fighters late at night in some easy resistance wars and we cannot find any of them because they are fighting in USA or Ireland or for battle heroes. Are you Israeli? Do you care about Israel’s glory? Show us what you can do for Israel.

What would you call you "Golden Moment" in eRepublik till so far?

I have 2 “Gold moments” in my e-life. The first one, when I joined in this game. Greece was fully occupied for months by Turkey, and the few Greeks united, sacrificed everything and liberated the first Greek region of Thrace. The second “Gold moment” for me, was in Joe’s Franco presidency. Meow2 was the Minister of Defense. Israel managed under their guidance to get the most bonuses of Israel’s history (colonies in Saudi Arabia and UAE) and we attacked to FYROM to help our Greek brothers.

Any tips or remarks you want to add to this interview or tell the nation?

Help each other and sacrifice, respect each other, help the new players, new players are the future of Israel and the future of all countries.

בכנות, שירתתי בתור שר החוץ תחת ממשלות גרועות וטובות. בשבילי, ההגדרה בשביל ממשלה גרועה זה ממשלה שכוללת בתוכה שחקנים לא פעילים (וגם נשיא לא פעיל). גם, ממשלה גרועה (ונשיא גרוע) זה בן שלא אכפת לו מהאנשים שלי אלא רק למען השם שלו. אני לא אכליל נשיא שהוא פעיל ודואג לאנשים שלו, אפילו אם הוא עושה טעיות והחלטות שגויות. זה העבודה שלי אחרי הכול, לעזור ולייעץ להם עם הנסיון שלי בשביל להגיע להחלטות הנכונות. ממשלה טובה מושפעת מהפעילות של הנשיא ושל השרים. לפי זה, אני יגיד שהממשלה הכי טובה הייתה תחת ג'ו פרנקו. גם ריקולס והשרים שלו עושים עבודה נהדרת החודש.

האם תוכל לתאר את יום העבודה האופייני שלך בתור שר החוץ של ישראל?

יש ימים שהעבודה שלי היא לא קשה. בחודשים האחרונים לישראל לא היו שום קונפליקטים עם מדינות אחרות, אז בעקרון העבודה הייתה דיי קלה. אני בודק בריתות, מייעץ ומיידע את הנשיא על המצב העולמי, יוצר קשר עם שרי חוץ אחרים ונשיאים, מקדם את היחסים הטובים ואת האינטרסים הישראליים. אבל יש ימים, שהעבודה מאוד קשה. במיוחד שלישראל יש קונפליקט עם מדינה אחרת (אם המדינה הזאת היא מדינה ידידותית זה יותר קשה) העבודה שלי בימים האחרונים נעשתה מאוד קשה, בגלל המצב שהיה לנו עם טורקיה, עם הנוכחות שלי בצאנלים של עדן הייתה הכרחית.

מה הייתה רוצה להיות משתנה בקהילה שלנו או במנטליות שלנו?

לדעתך, האם לישראל יש 'חיילים' או במילה אחרת איכותיים מבחינה צבאית?

ברור שלישראל יש את זה. מבחינה צבאית, לפני כמה חודשים היה לנו בסך הכול אל מלחמה אחד, אבל לאחרונה אנחנו ראינו הרבה שחקנים מגיעים לדרגה הזאת. זה טוב לישראל. אני רוצה לראות את זה השחקנים החזקים חוזרים לישראל. אישית, לא אכפת לי מהאזרחות שלהם (כמובן שזה יהיה יותר טוב אם תהיה להם אזרחות ישראלית) אבל אני מדבר על המראה שלהם מבחינה ישראלית. אני יכול להבין שחלק מהם לוקחים אזרחיות אחרות למען בונוסים, גם אני עשיתי את זה. אבל אני לא אוהב שכשאר אנחנו צריכים חיילים במחלקה הצבאית שלהם מאוחר בלילה במרדים קלים להבסה אנחנו לא יכולים למצוא אף אחד בגלל שהם נלחמים בארה"ב או באירלנד למען באטל הירוס. אתה ישראלי? אכפת לך מישראל? תראה לנו מה אתה יכול לעשות!

למה היית קורא הרגע הכי טוב שלך באירפבליק עד עכשיו?

יש לי שני "רגעים הכי טובים" במהלך האי-חיים שלי. הראשון שהצטרפתי למשחק, יוון הייתה כבושה לגמרי ע"י טורקיה לחודשים, ועם כמה יוונים מאוחדים, שהקריבו הכול ושחררו את האזור היווני הראשון - תראקיה. הרגע השני בשבילי היה שג'ו פרקנו היה נשיא. מיאו2 היה שר הבטחון. ישראל הצליחה תחת ההובלה שלהם לקבל את הבונוסים הכי גדולים שהיו לישראל אי פעם (שטחים באיחוד האמירות הערביות וסעודיה) ותקפנו את פירום בשביל לעזור לאחינו היוונים.

טיפים או עצות כולשהם אשר תרצה להגיד למדינה?

תעזרו אחד לשני ותקריבו, תכבדו אחת השני, עזרו לשחקנים החדשים, הם העתיד של ישראל ושל כול המדינות.
