Dear Israeli,

An upcoming man, silently except his razor sharp articles, not afraid to tell us what is wrong and what is right!
Some people call him the conscience of our nation, others refer him as the cement of our society, I will call him a multi-talent, a man with a wide view, a possible future legend CP.

I present you an interview with danis1982. What moves him, what are his motivations, his vision and his dreams.

Please tell something about yourself, your RL age, what you like to do in your free time, outside eRepublik?

You are very flattering , hahah, thanks., My name is Daniel, age: 30, 1.85 m 80 kg, free time...mmm, i read a lot and I'm the Bass player in a rock band.....thats what I can say.

Alright, and how did you find this game, and where did you start of? Did you find Israel an interesting country or where there deeper motivations to be in eIsrael?

I'm from Argentina, but i made Aliyah in 2007....I find the game, I actually in an Argentinean newspaper, but my account I open it in eIsrael from the beginning.

Could you elaborate what jobs in government you did till so far?

Actually not so much. In the government I was only MoI twice....My first task in eIsrael was as Captain of the MU Negev, and I get to 2nd commander there. Later in eIDF Division 4 I was also 2nd commander, even that at that time I was not really a division 4 fighter. And then I became Commander but just to replace Sicarius for a week.
Most of the work I do is more like an ONG, that is not part of the government but seek for the best of our country.

What in your idea, makes a good President? Which characteristics are essential?

Transparency, honesty, a plan, and the Cabinet. There is no president without Cabinet, the work of each member is fundamental. And the function of the president is to let his cabinet to help him.
For Example, if the Ministry of Immigration decide to deny a CZ, the CP could not contradict his own minister.

In which direction would you like eIsrael to develop coming months?

Coming months, should be peaceful. What, in my opinion, we should do, is to start build a long term
plan, we can not change the ship's course every month with the new president. We have very skillful people in eisrael, we see every month new improvements in the game, and we should go with the Improvements. Find the way to finance our soldiers to improve their companies, and that they could give back the money, so each time the government will grow with the people, right now everyone works and own but their own good, if we start thinking global we can grow as society, that’s why i insist so hard with the donations, the money in the state go back to the people daily!

Who are or were your role models in the game?

I have a few role models here, for me, the first 6 months i played i didn’t even comment in the articles, because I didn't know nothing, and I took that time to see how everything was going on.
Then I join my first MU...Negev, at that time Lieber7 was the commander, and he start to answer all my questions, sadly he left Negev to start ISA, and then my second role model appear Neta12, he ”finish” my training and put me as captain in the unit, I start working with him, and at that time I always look to the strength of Joe and John as the pillars of the state, whenever i saw one of those guys in the battle, I knew that we were winning!
Later we have the fusion of Negev and ISA, and Sicarius was the one to push me for greater things! I have a great respect for all of them!

How well are you connected outside Israel?

This must be my weak point, I never had political intentions, so even that I speak English, Spanish, French and of course Hebrew, people outside eIsrael, they don’t know me. I use to connect to the game sometimes from my work, so I cannot join the IRC so often., even that I'm online in the game.

What is your opinion about the Israeli who think you are too inexperienced?

Inexperienced, the question is for what? If there is something that I been doing here is the wikipages, and I read the articles, the rules from all the versions of the game and not only from Israel, also I read from our neighbors, SA, Iran, Turkey, Greece, and I'm pretty much inform around all the eWorld, also Argentina, Serbia, the States, France, etc.

Your vision on EDEN together with the Turkish Invasion?

I think that we are surrounded by big countries, such us eTurkey, eGreece and eIran and if it was not for our EDEN membership we were probably out of the map, as we were before sometimes in the past.
About eTurkey, that was treason, not just to us, it was to all the EDEN community. Of course in every country be have people trying to do stupid things, even us, 2 days ago some stupid try to pass a law of NE against eGreece!!! our greatest ally, but of course, thanks god the congress vote NO. So if some stupid in eTurkey send the law to NE us, and it pass...that means that we have a problem. I think that EDEN should apply sanctions, first of all, the immediately retreat of Israeli territory, and then a payment to eIsrael for each day and each region they took. If they don't accept that, then EDEN should kick them out, because if not it’s a green card to every strong member to do whatever they want to do.

What would be our biggest struggle coming period and what will be our chances in your vision?

The hardest thing to do for us is to grow in the game....I hear people talking about a Baby-Boom since I join the game, but the real number of active players in eIsrael is around the same, it grows very slowly.
Why I write so many articles? You can ask, and the truth is that new players join, work, train, fight, and if there is nothing there to get into the game they finish and go out, when I was MoI every 2 or 3 days I was publishing articles with prizes, the answers were easy, because the idea was to keep people interested in the game, and it was good money for new players. I know that it’s something doable, but yet if we keep changing the course, people will not find the game so interesting as we do.

What is your vision on the current eIDF?

I don’t like it. One of the thing’s that i more push to is to get our DMG power in the right place, and that means that sometimes we have all our soldiers fighting in a RW against SA, in a battle that is already 70 to 0. And therefore we are wasting damage that we could use to help other EDEN member that will be happy to get our help. Nobody can ask to someone to be 24/7 in the computer of course, but if you have one commander, two 2nd commander and captains, you don’t have place for new players to grow in the game, because there is no places to fill.
4 MU means that you need 4 Commanders, eight 2nd commanders and so on, that’s how you allow new people to get more involve in the game.
Also, everyone is fighting when they connect, what’s smart about that? nothing! you need to achieve 83 points, so you can tell inside the unit, not to fight in battles 4 and 5 and put all the power in battle 6, for example, and that's how strategy helps you to win the battle!

Was politics always your ambition in this game or did you roll into politics?

No at all. when I became for first time MoI, someone told me “Don’t worry mate, it’s top 20 /30 minutes work a day!” ← i will not give names, but he was lying, I was almost all day into the game, suddenly I was also need to check the translation teams and to form the Immigration team, updating all the wikipages from Israel, the MU, the Political party's, everything, but I like it.
In the past I offer my help to a lot of different people in the game, from Joe Franco to ArikAharon I help the government to be more clean as I could, if it was with the donations, giving ideas, or managing a MU my objective is the best for the nation, and I will keep doing it in the future!

Is there a power-block inside Israel? Or in other words is there a 5 or 7 people who influence this country the most on all areas?

Of course we do! I could not give names of course, but I know people that work getting information, and helping in every election, and checking MU to see what’s going on, and how we can improve Israel. Also we have the front of the people, people well known in all Israel, People that when you see them on battles you know we have hopes, and when you see one of their articles, you know that it’s a “must read one”.

Notice any new talent in political sense under the new generation players already?

I’m happy to say YES! i saw also new players growing in an amazing way in a short time, the best example for me should be SandalaiM (Ido), only 5 months ago he start with an Idea, to help the MoI, he create a group, “The Zorcane”, from there, he was already MoD3 times, and right now is Commander of the eIDF! Another example, could be Kiochan...I approve him Israeli CZ, 2 or 3 months ago and since then he became himself the Minister of Immigration, that means that if you want you can do it!

Any advice or message you want to give to your fellow Israeli?

Never surrender, we were in the Diaspora in RL and in the game, we know how to live outside, but we always have the hope to come back to our land, to Sion and to Jerusalem, We have now more than the Hope!
