Indian Hospitality
Observers of international military maneuvers have likely noticed a large amount of activity in Asia recently. Much of this has been in response to recent Phoenix posturing as the alliance attempted to position themselves to regain their crown jewel, Karnataka. However, with the express consent and cooperation of the Indian government, the United Sates has once again managed to foil Phoenix operations. It seems odd, at first glance, that India would help a country that holds control of one of their native regions.

Upon digging deeper into matter, however, their actions become obvious. It seems that the Indian people actually appreciate that America has treated them with respect and acknowledged their dignity. Unlike previous the occupiers of Karnataka, the United States has agreed to compensate India for occupying the territory. What's more, the PigInZen administration has agreed to donate a Q5 hospital to India in Jharkand. The President said earlier, "I personally am looking forward to forging long-lasting and deep ties between our countries....May our partnership be long and fruitful for both of our countries."

The recent renaissance of the Pony Express continues. The organization continues to seek American patriots who will volunteer a few minutes of their time to help make their country stronger. You bought the land of the Indians by giving them medicine and money to buy drinks. This is not the first time you are opressing Indians. Now you took one region but in time you will take all the land of the Indians and you'll force them to become Americans.

Heh, first off, your saying its better to take a region of theirs without consent and with NO payment instead of paying them more than a FAIR amount of gold to stimulate their low economy?
So its better to just take from them, with nothing in return?? That seems alot more arrogant than anything america ever did.
And if you forgot, Europeans tried to colonize and force entire continents to become part of them for about 500+ years...not to mention starting the slave trade, destroying kingdoms, stealing almost every valuable resources from asian, african, and latin american coutries....So yea america did harm the indians, but we didnt seek imperilism throughout entire cultures all over the world....
See i dont see how we are "oppressing" the Indian government, we pay them Rent for a temporary amount of time for Iron, while serbia and indonesia attempt to Aquire the territory by force without consent of the Indian government, And using America as an example is nothing more than a pretext and excuse for Phoenix. Well, giving India a Q5 is by far the most respectable thing that I've seen done in eRepublik politics since I've joined (I'm only 50 days old though). I was unimpressed with politics till now.

Zoli is clearly confusing Indians with "Indians". That puts him some 500 years behind us, in the time of Cristopher Columbus.
I'm very impressed with the civil and hospitable behavior on both sides, both India as well as pride in my own government for such generous actions. While it's an excellent diplomatic move, I'm concerned as to whether or not it's a good thing to be immediately giving out a Q5 when taxes are being raised, especially after Sydiot's recent quote about how much gold we were under a week or two ago.
