Which is the most feared Regiment in the British Army?

You could be forgiven if you said The Para’s


or The Gurkha’s


or the most famous of them all, the Special Air Service, or to you and me the SAS.


However, ask any member of the above and they will tell you of the one Regiment that they all fear beyond any reproach and that Regiment is the:

Royal Army Dental Corps



Little known and with a handful of qualified Dental Surgeons, Technicians and Nurses this professional regiment holds the success of a battalion in its hands.



However, our brave soldiers from the Forces elite are literally petrified of this obscure regiment and although often packing MP5’s or SA80’s the mere sight of an officers dental drill has these brave chaps heading for the hills.



Joking aside the Army has the worst dental record amongst the Tri-Services largely due to operational duties but mostly due to the failure of personnel to follow up with their own dental health.
