Where one falls, another rises.

Day 2,383, 16:51 Published in Poland Poland by KapiRadom

Whether we like it or not eRepublik changes everyday. It's not just about updates in game features, about which we all probably have the same opinion, but also I think about position of particular countires. The superpowers of yesterday, mostly now are only bit players. Who still remember glorious days of Sweden or Hungary? Handful. As much as I’m patriot, I am pretty sure best days of Poland have gone with the wind and there are no prospects for another Baby Boom, which could bring us back to the pedestal. Last, tough campaign against Slovenia and Serbia showed that we still have potential and will to fight but we are not as strong as we were once. What is more, large territory and popularization of Combat Orders make war even more expensive which, combined with low taxes, can lead the country to ruin. Plans about another pink circle around the world should be shelved alongside fairy tales. And what about Serbia? Since the founding of Sirius, they constantly have some troubles. Croatia, Bosnia and Albania time after time come back to Balkans, disturbing serbian calmness. Can't be forgotten, that recently Chile erased them, with bonus of course, but still. Serbia is no longer the same giant as before, in front of which all enemis were shaking with fear. In this game nothing last forever and just like in real life where one falls, another rises. Which one? For me definitely Argentina.

Maybe it’s exaggeration to call Argentina eRepublik’s Rockefeller, but there is some truth in it. They started with huge Baby Boom over a year ago and remained neutral for some time, then made themselves proTWO to finally become founder of Asteria. Presently, Argentina is one of the most populated countries, with fair number of regions around the world and highest amount of Country Power points. This would not be possible if they had not abandoned thier holy crusade against Chile. Despite the fact that they are in antagonictic alliances, with NAP signed, they are doing quite well. Dividing lands in South America, Africa and Australia they not only secured all resources for both countries, but also created circumstances to conquer new areas, normally inaccessible.

Using all potential only for protection of resources, would be nonsense and wastage. Fortunately or unfortunately, we can not accuse Argentina of those things. They erased Spain form the map and are able to keep this state for more than month so far. I am not saying it was or is easy, nobody should disrespect Spain, but still. Nevertheless, I hope that ‘plum color’ quickly returns. Argentina also chased away Croatia from India, and invited some allies without cores to share with them Hindi Pie. Peru, Canada, Uruguay and Iran did this with gladness.

Lately, this new superpower have a big share in destroying Sirius. First, Brazil left our alliance and signed NAP with Argentina, then also MPP. In reward for it, they received some of their regions back. Can we be angry because of that? Obviously we can not. Sirius could not do anything to liberate Brazil despite the attempts. For me it's clear, homeland always on the first place. After this long occupation some decision had to be taken, evan if it was so radical. I was very pleased to work with Brazil and had such an ally. All I can say now is good luck.

The hot news of last days in eRepublik is that US was thrown out from Sirius. Believe me or not, but Argentina again had a hand in this. It's of course about NAP between this two countries. Currently, non Aggression Pact is nothing spectacular and surprising, so why such a harsh reaction from the alliance? Guess who promised to help Spain and the next day signed the treaty with Argentina? You can not sit on two, remoted chairs at the same time, even if you are US. Sirius now consist of only european countries and its seems that is on inclined plane. The Argentina’s tactics is quite easy, but effective: take our side or you'll be erased.
