While Americans marched to the polls to contest Congressional Elections on June 25th, Hungary marched into Croatia with the aim of expanding their zone of interest through political takeover. The silence with which this blatant power grab was met - especially in light of the publicity from Croats - shocked many in government.
bbb_kambelovac broke the news of PEACE's 23-17 takeover of the Croatian government midway through American elections and urged Americans to move overseas in support of Croatian candidates. The deluge predicted by Croatian media moguls, however, turned out to be little more than a trickle.
What remains most shocking, however, is the silence of the Scrabman administration. Coming to the end of his third term, Scrabman has maintained a low profile over the past several weeks, deferring much of his administration's public policy to the Cabinet.
In a shocking and abnormal turn, the normally prolific media mogul Scrabman had no article in the Top 20 regarding the Croatian crisis during the election. The only major comment by an American government branch came from the Flying Unicorns, a military division, requesting troops move to Croatia and assist politicians there. Little is known of the success of this operation.
Opposition candidates accused President Scrabman of serving first as a leader for the USWP and only secondly as President of the eUnited States. They note that Scrabman issued several shouts directing votes to domestic candidates, but released no official shout urging the defense of the Croat government.
However, others agreed with Scrabman's neutrality, arguing that eAmerica's break from ATLANTIS ended our history of European intervention. Both sides received significant coverage.
Domestically, Scrabman's strategy proved a resounding success, with the United States Worker's Party scoring nearly 50% of Congressional seats. However, immeasurable damage has been done to international opinion of America, as the collapse of Croatia follows America's unwillingness to intervene during the takeover of our ally Germany.

Thanks for continuing the partisan politicking after the elections. Read my previous article for my congratulations to Dmalicious. By the by, I served in the liberation of Greece with the 1st/5th.
We at the Fair Dealer appreciate your dodging the question to engage in some post-election slapping.
We get 3-4 countries always pleading for ANTI-TO help, we can only be so many places, and Americans did come and help support Croatia. Although in retrospect, with the response we're getting from them, I'm not so sure if we didn't waste our votes on an ungrateful people.
Considering the number of countries that were trying to avoid PTO, this had to be expected.
It's sad, but we can't be everywhere at once, and nobody gets more than one vote.
Why anyone votes in US elections boggles the mind. I did vote in Croatia and I encouraged my associates to as well. I imagine the server going down at 9pm est hurt the US response. Hopefully Greece is still non - peace

Nick your an idiot. We were busy making sure Greece wasn't PTO'ed. I'm a member of the Air Force and I saw all the orders and requests they made of us. This is no ones fault, but PEACE. Your simply looking to take advantage of the PTO in Croatia to use as more fuel against the President.

As I said to the President on the forum, please review my previous article commending Dmalicious on his campaign and thanking several USWP members.
And actually, I do have several positions with the government, past and present, both as a soldier with the Army and as the current Ambassador to Sweden. I got the fun of serving in Sweden as Ambassador when Germany and Sweden went to war, and kept up a near-daily correspondence with the State Department on proposals for dealing with the situation.
No shortage of things to criticize in a Presidency that has gone on so long it's fallen asleep at the wheel.

What happened to the Libs anti-PTO efforts that were announced last week? Oh yeah, that's right, they were all used domestically to try and sway elections here. The Air Force however was sent to Greece as is it's role.

I have to agree with Teucer. I often do not support Scrabman, and I remember how the Croats fought alongside us in several battles, and was glad to have them with us.
But articles like this, they do not help. All they do is create a larger fissure in between USWP and non-USWP.
It was not Scrabman's fault that Croatia was PTOed. It was not USWP. People who are anti-USWP cannot bash USWP voters for being two-clicking zombies, and then turn around and expect to be able to rally those same 2 clickers to move to a country they have no idea even were our allies, to vote in an election in which they had no idea there were even issues about.

@scoots - As much flak as he takes all the time, I think the man has the right to rub it in the face of all the hypocrites that criticize him.
This kind of article is 1) the reason I won't vote for you, 2) illustrates why the Libs have such a bad reputation, 3) illustrates the playground juvenile mentality that constantly torpedoes attempts at eUS unity, and 4) is a really pathetic statement to be made right after our good ally, Croatia, just got PTO'd.
The eUS made a lot of effort protecting GREECE. We sent what support we could to Croatia. Did you stay up until 2am to vote for Croatia, Nick? Because I sure as hell did.
