Join the new world

Well it seems that PEACE GC is backing out of the carefully-crafted treaty that has costed Emerick, as well as up to 15 senators, any chance at reelection. The treaty, as you all know, was passed by Congress (with a pitiful number of votes), and signed by Emerick in a last-ditch attempt to spare the eUSA. Those who supported the treaty (including myself, grudgingly) saw it as a way for the eUSA to recover, rebuild, and help our allies in the goal of kicking some PEACE ass.

Alas, the Russkies had other plans. It would seem we were too quick in accepting the finalized treaty, since eRussia claimed that the 300 gold tribute was far too little. This claim of course came safely long enough after the ratification of the treaty that public opinion was heavily polarized by that point. So what was their response? Continue attacking the eUSA, raping what was left of the resource-low regions, and most likely attempting to breach the fortress states.

There are some claims that eRussia is doing this because they now realize how hosed they are by the treaty: they get none of the land they tanked so hard to earn, and get a paltry sum to tide them over, after paying a ridiculous amount to get back one of their territories. I would almost feel sorry for the poor bastards if it wasn't for the fact that they have taken out their hate on the eUSA, rather than those who screwed them over in the peace treaty talks: eIndonesia and eHungary, the puppet masters of PEACE GC. They know they will get nothing, but they also know they cannot win against those who hold their leash, dangling the fantasy of a reunited eRussia in front of their nose. Instead, they try to claim whatever territories they can, similar to claiming flies on a corpse.

And now for the kicker: PEACE official Quicksilver, of eHungary, has commented in this article that
"Nobody signed a treaty, so.... so just look up your facts first.

There exist only a treaty proposal."
Translation: You've been had, we only did this so that you would look like idiots on the world stage. And just like every other time, we've succeeded.

Now I'm not saying I saw this coming. Show me someone who says they did, and I'll show you a damn liar. All this has done is show just how far PEACE will go to crush any and all who oppose them, militarily, economically, and diplomatically. There never was going to be a signed peace, it was only ever a tool for the diplomatic destruction of the eUSA so that we would have no allies when they came around to finish us off. Now there is only one of two things that could happen: PEACE will either leave us crippled economically in New Jersey and Florida (or perhaps only one), or they will wipe us out completely. Unless we go through some kind of military miracle, PEACE self-destructs, whatever, we probably will be crushed. So my question for you, dear reader (however few of you there are), is What are you going to do now?

I'm fighting until the bitter end, until I have to flee from Florida. After that, I don't know. Maybe I'll raise hell in a resistance war or two, the Russkies seem to be having problems containing a serious outbreak of these. Maybe I'll help out at eGreece. You do what you want, what you think is best for the eUSA. Best of luck, whatever you choose. We'll all need it.
