When boredom drives to mess

For months we’re undergoing a deteriorating gaming experience. Mostly due to boredom and the lack of will to change things in the people that can make it happen.

A part of us even do not know why do they still log on here, some forgot why they play this game or what it was made for. I, myself, see things that I’ve never seen before, things that wouldn’t even have crossed our mind a year ago.

Friends turning their back, disappointments from eNations choosing a path we see as shameful, real life issues taking even more over the game, people going totaly crazy and doing litteraly shit and getting banned...

This is a little part of what we can deal with in a eRep’ ‘s normal day. And, this is totaly becoming retarded. It is obvious that boredom is one of the cause that made this game’s athmosphere like that. I point out my finger to those who could help avoiding all of this. People that had the things in their hands to make this game balanced and proper for a better gaming experience. They’ll recognize themselves. And, we all know that not only the admins have their part of responsibility in this although they work to make that game more fun, but also the people running countries and alliances.





You all can blame admins about economy module and stuff, but today if you feel that’s a real mess, that’s because our reason that kept us welded is fading away.

I am talking about the community. Indeed, we all made friends, and we finaly all stayed because we want to keep in touch with all the acquaintance and friends we’ve made across times. Now look at how the community is. Just dare reading comments in articles or sometimes shouts, you’ll see it by yourself:
- Provocation
- Insults
- RL issues related (Whereas we’re playing a game with a virtual we’re suppose to make better and not follow the path of the ones that made our past a mess).
- Manipulation
- Deceit

…

It’s no use to say I am personaly fed up with all of this mess, I do not recognize the game I used to play.


So, I’d like to make a call that applies to every player in here. It just requires a little flame of will in you. A little gesture that, made by a thousand of people, would help to make this place, we all daily play in, better.

We all have the power in our hands to make this game balanced, every country runners have that power, every player has the power to be wiser than the average.

Stop the insults, it is absolutely not needed, we can express ourselves with words instead, we are civilized people.

Stop bringing real life issues into this game, that’s ridiculous, this is a virtual place, make it better, make it what it should have been, fix the mistake from our real past, be wiser than the people that lived ages ago and didn’t have the same way of living, feeling, thinking.

Think about the others, think that real people are behind those pages we call profiles. Respect and spread a bit of kindness won’t hurt your, bring smiles on faces. It’ll lead to a place which people are feeling good in and that’ll be better.

Be honest, be frank, do not fall for kid’s game. Most of us are adults, stop it with stupid rumors or kid’s issues.

To countries and alliances, stop sitting your asses on glory, everyone has the right to have a bit of fun, a game is supposed to be fair, you all point out the “pay to win” marketing strategy of eRepublik but still you, yourself, contribute to kill the fun in some player’s heart from countries you own/occupy abusively.

Do not tell me that’s not possible, I can proove you’ll be wrong with just one fact. The group of people I gathered next to me for years, called Foxland. You’ll see people from Greece, MKD, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Germany, Italy, France, USA, South Korea, England, Turkey, Bulgaria, Iran, Argentina, Albania, Russia... that are everyday talking together and are friends. That exchange a lot of things between themselves.


Just make this game balanced in every way, make this game better, revive the “why” we all joined and kept playing this game for.
