What you can expect from a witherd1 government in April.

Today I am here to tell you more about what I hope to achieve as CP if elected.
One very important thing for eAustralia, is education and new player relations. I want to rebuild the Department of Education (DoE) and breathe new life into it. I want the DoE to not just send a "new player message" to new players, and post articles for people to learn from. While these are both very important things, there is so much more we can be doing to get new players more interested in the game, and keeping the game fun for them, and everyone else.
I will promote the Department of Information (DoI) to work more closely with the DoE, to improve community interaction for, not just new players, but all of the community. I want to make this game fun for everyone, including the players that have been here for ages and don't find it quite as fun as they once did. I have a list of ideas for competitions and other challenges that will promote community interaction.
Foreign Relations is obviously a vital part of any government, and I think we can be doing a whole lot more here. We have an Ambassador program that has gone stagnant, I plan on employing people to work on rebuilding the program, and get people interested in being eAustralian Ambassadors, to improve our relations around the globe.
Closer to home, our relations with eIndonesia should remain on track, but not at the expense of our dignity or freedom to make our own decisions. We will endeavour to continue to build our relations with eIndonesia, but will not be dictated conditions by eIndonesia that we do not dictate to them. It is a two way street.
I want to bring more transparency to the Government so that Citizens may see whats going on, and choose to get more involved if they wish. I have a number of ideas on how to achieve this, and will list a couple for you now.
First and foremost, the DoI will not just publish 2 "Cabinet reports" per term, they will post regular articles, containing detailed non-sensitive information on what we are doing, we may even include Cabinet logs of meetings and discussions. Of course some Foreign Affairs issues may need to remain private. As long as it does not threaten eAustralian security, it can be included.
I will start work on a Declassification System for non-sensitive Cabinet archives, so the public can see what goes on in Cabinet. I would like to see more activity in the Public Gallery, I will promote a Q&A section where Citizens can ask Ministers questions, and Ministers will be required to answer within a certain timeframe.
I want to see more openness to the government, more public interaction, and I will of course accept any public input as to how to make that happen in the best possible way.
I will also create a team to reinvigorate the wiki. We can create templates for players to upload their own pages, for Citizens, Party's, and MU's.
As you can see, I plan to be very busy indeed if elected. I want to see more public interaction, and transparency of the Government. I want to see old stale ideas that can be great, rebuilt to fulfill their potential. And most of all, I want to build on eAustralia's prosperity, to see a brighter, stronger future for us all.
The choice is yours.

Great article, Cant wait for you to win!
If you are not elected as CP, will you be sharing your ideas with the DoE of Greenmans's Cabinet?
Witherd1 for CP!
Roboa, I believe that new players need a great focus. If Arfman/Greenimp do win, I would be willing to work with them in some form to help new players, and existing players, to the best of my ability. It would require a very devoted team in the Department of Education and new player relations.
I'm confused.
The first point about player introductions and messaging has already been occurring over the course of the past government. There has been joint efforts by the DoE and the DoI teams already in play.
Following on from that, the relationship between the two departments is dependent on the strength of the cabinet. This has been a strong cabinet and given the number of people from this administration who will serve in the next government, it is primed to continue in great strides. See Mudkip's 'grab bag' for more.
Regarding foreign policy and Indonesia, this sounds like another in a long line of dead approaches. It has almost become the right of passage for CP candidates to run on a platform of status quo. On that, Larni has managed to do what I never thought was possible from the outset and build strong, bilateral relations with Indonesia whilst at the same time - been the first CP in modern eAus history to have been the most collegial with the Senate on these developments.
On wiki: these have been taken up by private citizens, including myself. Are we not living up to your expectations in this area and if not - where have we strayed in our commitment to help out others so badly? Quite often, without the player's knowledge until I was done and I messaged them, I spent time between battles and Senate work by going to player wikis and updating their information. This is the only way it can be done given the size of the population - people have to have a passion for it. Throwing jobs out in the air without player commitment to help others consistently is like most programs - they become a short-lived, one-time event.
In summary, most of what you've wrote have either already been undertaken or are in development (re. Indonesia). The way you've come across in your article says they haven't. Are you suggesting the transitioning government has failed to deliver or haven't the private initiatives of the citizenry been appreciated by your campaign?
Sounds promising. Looking forward to a CP term with Witherd1!
lol @ TJ still thinking people read his TL😉R comments.
I physically cannot bring myself to read anything past the first 2 lines.
I have a TL😃R for his comments...
Yap yap yap bla bla bla *dog woof*
^ You two clowns can trollolol as much as you please .. when you put up an idiot to run for office who clearly has no idea what's coming out of his mouth, or when challenged over accusing people of not doing enough - like he has - that's a giant red warning light on the promise to lead right out of the gate.
Then again .. kids these days.
Tj, Cant you just leave on your own free will, Nobody is stopping you, Maybe make some articles with swear words in them.
James R, can you follow your own advise?
Please dont use this article to troll one another. TJ, you have admitted you are no longer involved in the game, and going by your above comments, anyone can clearly see that. If you were up to date with everything that is happening, and actually read my article correctly, I would have responded to you. Perhaps do your homework before shouting down the opposition just cos.
