The iNCi. What to do?

I've spent many an hour in their IRC channel, #inci, and I've gotten to know many of their members and leaders. They greet me with open arms and warm words (and not so warm ones, but they do love to make sex jokes).

I do not believe the iNCi are here to PTO the USA. I think they're here because we offer opportunities most other countries do not. At the time they began their move, we had every resource. This is a huge boost to their communes. They have many new players to help support, and a solid commune system is needed. Even now, when we don't have them all, we're still one of the best in the world, from a bonus standpoint.

Now, strictly from the position of how we should treat individual members of iNCi, I have this to say:

Treat them like you would anyone else

If they're a butt, tell them so. If they're particularly bro like, make friends and get to know their culture. They're being born here now. This isn't something we can stop, and we shouldn't try. We should treat them like any other American, until they give us cause not to. As of now, the only thing they've done wrong is run someone not approved for Congress (really that falls on the party who ran them), and the Congressman they do have approved people without clearance first. However, it has been said many times that a personal vouch is the best thing one can have in the immigration process, and unless you see iNCi as a threat, you should view these approvals as a violation in procedure, rather than an attack on America.


USA loves girls

eRepublik is our little sandbox to play 'house' in, just like we did when we were kids. We shouldn't get mad because we have new neighbors, we should bring over some bundt cake, and plan a barbecue. Our new neighbors haven't started throwing their trash in to your trashcan, or parking their boat on our front lawn, in fact, their economic activity is a huge boost for our national treasury.

Could they be here to destroy us? Sure, of course.

Am I cautious? Again, of course I am.

Do I think that the iNCi are on the whole a good group of people, just trying to have fun like we are? Yes, I do.

This is a game. We don't get to decide who plays, but we can decide how we choose to play with the people who do.
