More Vyse!

Seriously this time! First of all allow me to tell you a little about myself and my history in eIreland. My name is Vyse. I'm founder of the Irish Union Party, Former Tánaiste and Minister of Defense. I have sat in the Dail many times in the past and have helped contribute to the debate. I was also Mayor of Galway twice in Beta.

Now that's out of the way with. What are my plans once elected to the Dail? Well I plan on doing the following to help make eIreland and the Northwest a better place to live and help Ireland take a more active role in International Affairs. With the collapse of ATLANTIS we have a new opportunity to help forge the future of our region. I want Ireland to be part of forging the future and not shy away from this and hide in our bubble. Mainly because the ATLANTIS bubble is now gone and though we was neutral it protected us in a strange way. So we need to make sure we can make sure our neighbors are protected once again as well. Cause if they are safe and stable then Ireland is safe and stable.

So here are the key changes I wish to bring:

Transparency! Transparency! Transparency!

So long as it's safe to do so. (As in not dangering national security) I will publish my voting record at least once before my term is up. So that you may judge me on what I voted for in the Dail should I run for re-election. I hope others follow my lead in this. I've seen it done in other countries and would be happy to work with the Ministry of Information to get reports on Congress Voting records out in the media for you to read.

War Council

I admit I've stolen this from the Brits in a way. Though i feel it's a great idea and here is how it works. In the event a War is declared upon a country. Instead of the Dail being used in a long and lengthly process. The President will call a War Council. With selected members from all parties in Congress. These people will then vote if we should deploy our mobile forces at not. The amount their vote weighs depends on how many Congressmen they have in the Dail. This vote can be overturned by the Dail via a proposal at anytime. This will allow us to help nations quicker than going though the slow process with the Dail.

Caring for the Northwest

Like I did as Mayor of Galway. I will try my best to keep in contact with all my citizens. Making sure you all sign up to the National Forums and joining in with discussions that effect you in the game. I will make sure you are given good health care via our Health Schemes. If you are out of work I will help you find a job in State Companies or the Private Sector. I will make sure you are involved in how this countries run by educating our newer citizens we together will build a stronger and more fair Ireland.

Finally

This is a rather simple Manifesto but we don't need long complex ideas. We need experience and stability in these uncertain times. So Vote for more Vyse in the Northwest. You won't regret it I tell you.
