What Exactly is the "Left" in Erep?

Do you really hate the “Left” of Erep or just the left in RL?
In real life, there are numerous people who just can not stand the left and far left. Those socially open people who just sit on their butt all day talking about saving trees and collecting welfare checks. /sarcasm off. However, in Erep, why does the Conservative Party have such an inbred hatred for the “left.” It doesn’t make sense. Let’s assume the Conservatives are right about the following things:
1. In RL, the left taxes those who make more money at a higher rate.
2 In RL, the left proposes taxes which are overall higher then needed.
3.. In RL, the left hands out money to people who are too lazy too work.
4 . In RL, the left despises war and killing, and does not adequately protect our country from threats.
Ok, unless you are an idiot, you see where we are going with this. These things simply cannot be true for the “left” in Erep.
1. Everyone is taxed at the same rate. In addition, only the wealthy company owners can avoid taxes.
2. In Real life, the conservative movement feels that taxes should be as minimal as possible. Simply put, they can afford to do this because they also cut services and pricey social programs. Thus, in theory, they decrease revenue while decreasing expenditures, while the extra money companies make “trickles down” into the economy. In Erep, we do not provide government services. The only thing we spend money on are war related expenses. Be it, gold to start wars, MPP’s, hospitals, and guns for battles. Thus, if we want these things then we must impose a reasonable level of tax. We tax for war, nothing else. I am surprised the Conservatives have not jumped on this bandwagon.
3. In Erep, the government provides minimal social services. In fact, we have just now started to implement the first major social service, Meals on Wheels. In addition, we have ample job opportunities. There is not a lack of jobs. Therefore, we will never have to subsidize any workers’s income nor will we ever be doling out those welfare checks.
4. Simply, the “left” in Erep is not opposed to war because it hurts noone and is the major part of this game and its economy. For the workers of this country to succeed, we must war so that the economy does not stagnate.
As you can see, the “left” of Erep is actually somewhat different then the left of the real world. In Erep, we are the realists. We understand that it takes money to start battles and secure wins on the battle field. We understand that numerous people have ran the numbers and have come up with the smallest tax rate which will allow us to actually have wars which ensures the continued success of our country. If you think that extra 10 percent a day in taxes is a big hit, wait till we have a month of no wars, our weapon and gifts prices will halve, sending a ripple effect of reduced wages to all sectors of the work force.
Why do they hate us? We can only assume its that extra 10 percent, that 50 cents to 2 dollars a day, which we unduly wish to impose upon them to ensure our economies continued growth.
Seriously, think outside the box, think about the Erep simplified economy, and you too will come to the same conclusion 😉

I wish there were some really controversial countries like far right. I would love to see a world war, not one of those crappy Erepublik '4 countries involved world wars'
Heh, you cant really compare the right and left in irl to Erep since the game is much more simplistic than irl and there is no moral dimension in erep.
I think the term should be "tax and spendists" which are vaguely like the left, and "don't tax and spendists" which are vaguely like the left, but then again these terms in the game transcend their real life counterparts (I know of several people who are distinctly right or left in RL but play the opposite in erep)

Just to answer his question... you guys have blatantly said you hate us. Does that help Alphamega3's?
To add to this, that extra 50 cents to 2 dollars a day really means nothing. What are you guys going to spend your money on? Its not like eRepublik gives you a lot of options.
You aren't saving up for a big TV or to go on a nice vacation. You don't have medical emergencies or bills to pay. You need food. Maybe a house(which you only have to buy once). Weapons if its war time.
Hell, I routinely have over 200 USD a day, even in wartime. I never have to let it drop below that. I can afford my food, weapons, gifts if I need them, moving tickets. I'd gladly pay higher taxes.
In wartime its even EASIER to save money, because you can use a hospital for 50 wellness every day. Expensive food is not needed. I can survive on Q1 if I want, and still end the day with 100 wellness.
Your bringing RL ideology into a game that doesn't WORK on RL ideology.

So eLeftists are the realist because you know it takes money to start battles and secure victory. Then please tell me oh wise realist, why Indonesia and Romania start battles and secure victory far more often then us, with far less money?
Just to verify a few things, understand what I see Indonesia doing. Lower taxes (our taxes are 20 times theirs) for the workers, means less money for gov, and it results in, a stronger economy and fighting many battles and winning more than we do. So once again, please tell me why we can't do that or maybe not that extreme, but why that is bad. What is it that you want your gov to do... I will tell you what I would be happy with. Gov spending and taxations along the lines of Romania and Indonesia, and as many battles and victories as those two countries. Now, what else do YOU want from your government?...How is that for hate?
Oh by the way, it is your leftist ePresident, the Honorable Uncle Sam, who wants to outlaw organize dissent. Is that your position also?

Alphamega3, you are wrong about Indo and I believe you are misinterpreting what Uncle Sam was trying to say 😑
BTW alphameg, Romania and Indonesia both have scours of active, rich citizens that fight as tanks without any government funding. Considering that we don't have that type of active citizenry, the comparison between Indo/Romania and us is laughable.
The fact is that this country needs to arm its soldiers. Look at the Mexican war and the amount of damage we were able to do with some proper funding for proper soldier arming.
