What exactly is a UBIP?

Day 1,027, 23:07 Published in Belgium Belgium by T3SS Finance

Or, better yet, what isn't the UBIP?

We are exactly as our name intends. Independent. We do not expect our members to conform to any set of ideals, thoughts, or ways to play this game. To do so would be to stop the creative process that, from my perspective, keeps this game alive and exciting. And, my friends, it looks to me as though eBelgium needs as much excitement as it can get. We want anyone who is willing to be a part of a community and have fun with fellow members. From the far-right to the silly Communists, we will not deny anyone membership. In fact, we encourage diversity. With it, debate and the exchange of information happens more rapidly than with those who only stick with people of their own ideology. We share a forum with others while keeping a section for ourselves. This is one of the best ways to interact with people from different countries!

Some of you may have noticed the similarity between us and the American party, the UIP, and the Israeli party, the UIIP. This is no coincidence. We are a international entity. One that hopes to bring a a more lively and fun community to every country we are located in. However, the UBIP is completely separate in the decision making we make from the UIP and the UIIP. We all have one common goal, though. To bring eBelgium out of it's comatose state and to propel it into an era of abundant activity. Out of habit though, we, the current leadership of this independent party, have made a list for us to strive to achieve the following:

- Gaining further economic control over Belgian and foreign markets
- Promoting the UBIP into top 5 status and keeping it there
- Supporting independent countries worldwide
- Maintaining eBelgium's territorial and economic sovereignty
- Rendering all opposing Political, Economic, and Military adversaries defenseless.

(A little brutal in some eyes, but goals are always good for a community.)

So, without further ado, let us break down what the UBIP stands for:

UNITED - It is through unity that we find strength as a party. We are united in a desire to put the good of the country before the good of our party. We are also united in our belief in the importance of equal opportunity and free speech. We believe that debate and an open competition of ideas is critical in helping to determine the direction of both our party and country. We uphold the importance of friendliness, helpfulness, and charity, believing that people are more important than politicking. Our goal is to move the nation forward together in the best possible way, and to define that way through intelligent debate.

BELGIAN - Our party works in, with, and for the nation of eBelgium. Therefore, every eBelgian that lives inside of the country and even outside it are welcome. In addition, we must state that you do not have to be a RL Belgian for us to accept you. As put forth by a good friend of mine and of eBelgium, Manong Rizal, all you have to be is a Belgian at Heart. Breaking free from the close-minded policies from this nation's relatively recent beginning, we believe everyone should have the chance to prove their worth to this nation. EDEN, Phoenix, and even ONE, no one is denied.

INDEPENDENTS - Our party recognizes the foundational importance of individualism and free thought. Our party makes no member requirements based on political ideologies. We reject the notion of a "hive mentality" and stand as a party for those who don't wish to be part of a mindless conglomerate. We recognize the value of every party member, and are committed to supporting candidates and leadership solely on the basis of individual merit.

PARTY - We are committed to having a good time! We strive to create a positive atmosphere where all people, both members and non-members alike, feel valued and welcomed. Our goal is to not simply be a party, but a community that will help keep everyone motivated and entertained. We pledge to work hard to in trying to be genuinely helpful to our party members, our fellow citizens, our nation, and our world.
