Our losing streak is ending. We're pushing our enemies out but we are not safe yet. This begs the question 'What can YOU do for your country?' The answer is simple - choose from a range of militias, the JCS Army, and the United States Army. By signing up you get orders so your damage is co-ordinated and at the small price of working in a commune, you get supplied food and possibly weapons to fight, everyday.

I hate the commune idea. I know most of the time the supplies you get are worth more than working but its just feels like we have less freedom. I want to join a militia that just worries about coordinating damage and with a small community.

I hate to be a little bitch, but the Military Unit Idea is just plain terrible.
I've "been" in two so far, STEALTH along with TC, I'm not saying they are bad, in fact I congratulate them for their success. BUT, like cmm78 said above me, they literally take away your freedom to level up, become self sufficient and just work on your own, When I came up front with this and told them how I felt, they all said the same thing "Sell the supplies we give you for money"
I absolutely hated that since they FORCE you to work in a commune which doesnt allow you to make your own money
Also, The Training Corps is easily the most annoying thing. All of it is just military role playing bullshit.

Hello. I am new here so I have a question. I noticed that none of the above units are, apparently, units created in game. What is the difference between the Military Units above and the ones in game, and what are 'communes'?
I need help! Just started eRepublik again and need to know what to do. I left eOregon to travel t eWyoming to fight the resistance and at my job got paid in ESP now I am stuck with ESP money that I can't buy anything with. I tried the monetary market to sell ESP for USD and the program tells me "possible exploit detected, transaction stopped". What do I do? Also looking for a party to join and a military unit and a job.....
Commune question:
Communes are basically companies owned by the military or militia. Members work in these companies for a low wage (i.e $10 /day), but in return receive supplies and/or weapons worth more than the average job salary in the current market. Though you work for a low wage, you are fully supplied and can use the produce that you work in your own additional companies purely for profit.
Military Unit Question:
The in-game Military Unit function was introduced a couple months ago, and basically is just organizing a group of members, who can relay information using a message board on members of that unit can see. I think this is still in development, and probably will become more useful as more updates are implemented (hopefully? lol)
The eUSAF and JCS military do not use this MU function. Militias are known to make use of them more. Most militaries and militias rely more on IRC and external forums for management and relaying information and orders.
