eSwitzerland has a big problems! Everything was going great until eSlovenia randomly declared war on us.
I have no idea why eSlovenia wants to go to war with us.
This was not even a split vote this was a unanimous 28 yes 0 no vote.
Now this brings us to the next problem, the eSwiss government was informed that Oblige (USA) rejected our MPP request, if thats not bad enough, eSwiss was put on EDENs no MPP list and is now considered a ProONE country.
This is quite annoying, the eSwiss government is neutral.
Should I define it for you EDEN?
Neutral: Not helping or supporting either of two opposing sides, esp. countries at war; impartial.
Neutral: not taking part or giving assistance in a dispute or war between others
Neutral: not aligned with or supporting any side or position in a controversy
You can say we allow ONE nations to pass through us, but we have no other choice. We’re the smallest nation in the game anyone can pass through. We have no chance of stopping them, so working out plans with them that allow them to pass through and still assure we can hold congress elections is important.
Even when we did MPP the eUSA and other Teden countries, you hardly put any effort into assisting us and keeping us on the map, so can you blame us for trying to stay on the map, we sign these treaties and let them through because we have no choice, and all Teden does is punish us for trying to stay on the map, and refuses to assist us when we do MPP them.
What are we suppose to do? We're left with nearly no support. No one seems to cares about the neutral nations.

The fact that they got 50 gold from one country, then 20 gold from another makes me think that they are just trying to get what they can. They simply turned eSwitzerland into the worlds biggest toll bridge, and the last time I checked toll bridges don't pick sides.

you let france to use your regions to occupy austria and get 50 gold for it. yes you are very neutral.
@erdoni we also let hungary pass through us for 20 gold, we have no choice at the end of the day, france could of had are regions if they wanted all they had to do was attack, we can't fight them off. We simply ask for gold for compensation for them passing through us to help make the situation a little better for us.
That's strange but I don't recall France choosing Austria as their NE.

you had choice jkli5. if you are neutral you just dont accept the gold. if you get the gold, you are not neutral but you are on side of whoever gives you the money. let others pass you on force, but don't say you are neutral after selling us to france for 50 gold.
@erdoni we are also getting soled, we lose regions in the process and we need gold.

Good article. You can't blame either alliance for rejecting you, as you do not benefit their cause in any way, and you really can't stay neutral in the middle of Europe. You can try, but in the end, someone is going to come at you. Slovenia (ONE) is clearly hostile at you, and France (TEDEN) really doesn't care about you. Switzerland is just fucked in this game, you can't do much about it. If I was the leader of eSwiss, I would hold another referendum, although I'm not sure how much that would help right now. I am on your side however, and I will attempt to get you congress again. I hope the Slovenia situation works out, but I am really not surprised by this behavior.

Well it's not that bad I think. Last time I checked we had 3 regions of wich two were not connected with the capital, thats why we have only one food bonus. Ergo if they don't manage to RW deutschschweiz out from France, the war will close after they took Grau and Svizzera, as we'll have no neighbouring regions left...

I have to disagree with erdoni btw. France attacked Hungary, not Austria. And also check your household before blaming Switzerland for making contracts, or lending regions.
Btw all you smarties, what do you think Swiss should do exactly? We're a small country we'd be lowest priority for any alliance to save our asses, quite probably we wouldn't even have more than 1 region for ourselves anyway. If you want us to be truely neutral, then teden and one should declare a demilitarized zone for the whole territory.
Should we choose Teden.. We'll get full military support, to protect us against Slovenia? Teden forces will fight on our side, until we take all Slovenian regions, and end the war? Or it's more likely, that you'll let them occupy us, and when you have the time, you'll come to RW a region for us, to have congress? If you have the time? Joining a side is a horrible idea... Switzerland is just too weak to join a side. How can anyone expect us to just fight back against Hungary or France who want to pass through our regions? It's obvious that any intelligent person would allow for their passage, otherwise face deletion. Oblige, I do not think you are in a position to say Switzerland must choose a side... we were proTEDEN for perhaps a while, and yes, your help was very much appreciated, but it was clear that it was not enough.
TEDEN and ONE are both being immature. It is just like in real life when you are friends with two people, but they hate each other and make you choose one over the other. It's silly and shows that you are not a true friend.
I don't know, how could Norway stay in EDEN.

I was coming to Swiss with my friends to help this country but guillotinists blocked my friends' CSes. And I can say for sure that I have done more things to this country than all guillotinists total. Did you know that there is a history?
I will try to be delicate with this subject.
It is a unique situation that Switzerland has. The choices seem simple, submit to region(s) being taken over by much more powerful neighbors, for the purpose of that country's attacking someone else or being overrun (and likely wiped) any time one of the neighbors feels like it. Worst case scenario is two larger neighbors fighting between themselves for Swiss bonus region.
As far as the amount of gold changing hands, I would consider that an act of barter. They are simply asking for the best deal they can get.
I completely agree with my CP Oblige in that one side must ultimately be chosen.
I disagree on must choose a side theory. eSwitzerland is one of the very few countries in the game that tries to be as neutral as possible and I respect that. If your intentions are fair you can always be friends with them. Last year when I was eAmbasador here, the relations with eMacedonia were great and we never asked them to break the neutrality.
Oddly enough I've just been appointed as ambassador again and guess what, will continue to promote the same thing as before. Respect the opponents, even the neutral ones.
