Wellness 101

Day 507, 13:11 Published in USA USA by Joe DaSmoe

Decided to release this again, I got a pm from a new guy asking about wellness.

Ah wellness, the everyday struggle for eRep citizens. Keeping your wellness maintained is very important, it boosts your productivity at work and your strength on the battlefield. Raising wellness is easy during wartime. Peacetime, not so much.
Your citizen's wellness loss or gain is attributed to several factors. These include working, training, gifting, fighting, food, housing, and moving.

Wellness loss

1. You lose 1 wellness point for training per day. Training daily is essential as it takes quite awhile to gain strength. Never skip training.

2. You lose wellness daily by working. If you work for a Q1 company, you lose 1 wellness. Q2= -2 wellness, etc. Shoot for a job that suits your needs.

3. You loss 10 wellness for every fight you take part in.

4. You lose wellness when you move, unless you move with a high quality moving ticket, then you actually gain wellness. Q1 moving tickets net -2 wellness, Q2= -1, Q3= 0, Q4= +1, Q5= +2.

5. You will also lose wellness if you do not "consume" food daily. The amount of loss depends on your current wellness level.
Wellness level between 1 and 10 = -1
11 and 50 wellness = -2
51 and 80 wellness = -3
81 and 100 wellness = -4

Wellness boosts

1. Fighting, we all know how awesome fighting is. *_*

2. Gifting. Exchanging gifts is an effective way to boost wellness. Your citizen can receive 10 total gift points per day. A Q1 gift gives 1 wellness, Q2's give ya 2 points, so on.

3. Food. Higher quality food gives higher wellness. This effect is altered though dependent on your current wellness level. If you have high wellness the boost is less, low wellness the boost is higher. ex: at 90% Q1 food nets 0.6 gain. At 50% Q1 nets 1 gain.

4. Housing. Buying a house takes time, but its a crucial step. Obviously the higher quality the better. The bonus equals roughly the quality. Q3 house gives 3 wellness. Your house also factors in on the boost your food gives you. Better the house bigger the boost. However, you receive no boost from your house without food in your inventory.

Wiki formula: If you have food and house: wellness increase = (1.5 - (current wellness/100)) X (wellness bonus food + wellness bonus house)

Fighting 101: Fight smart!

In summary, just find yourself a gifting partner, buy the best food you can afford, and use your level 6 gold bonus to buy a house. It takes time, but if you keep at it you will "get well." Don't make it harder on yourself by working for a high quality company unless you can afford it. Also remember most employers pay more to players who actively work for higher wellness.

Good Luck,
