Welcome to the Party

Day 2,246, 10:19 Published in Ireland USA by Raven Anarcho

Two familiar foes clash once more, as a smaller nation takes a stand. Peace comes for one nation as its allies begin a joint assault.

NOTHING NEW

After winning back a region from Chile, Australia has now NEd the larger nation once again. After turning on Peru, Chile moved into Australia's territory weeks ago and the war has raged on ever since, with few successes from the smaller nation. Australia and Chile are no strangers to one another. At one time, Australia had tried to join Chile in CoT, however the plan fell apart once Chile suspiciously charged Australia with breaking terms for peace. Australia has renewed a handful of major MPPs after regaining the region, including MPPs with Poland and Serbia.

LEAD THE WAY

Montenegro has proposed to leave TWO. The nation is the first TWO nation to go forth with a proposal during the alliance tensions. When an influential member of the nation left to Serbia and published an article criticizing Spoland for preferring damage over brotherhood, the alliance banned Montenegro's minister. Once the smaller nation tried to reason with HQ, insults were thrown from both sides. Left with little choice, the nation has decided that enough is enough. Montenegro has stated its intention to remain closer to Serbia's sect of TWO. The proposal is expected to pass.

CHILL PILL

Finland and Estonia have signed a peace treaty, which will soon bring an end to their recent conflict. The Asgard nation, along with its close ally Sweden, have been in a continuous war with Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania for some time, with battle results often determined by how much support Poland was willing to give it's smaller allies. The treaty is rather basic. No nation pays, no nation keeps the other's regions. While the rest of the alliance fights on, Finland will appreciate a temporary moment of peace, which will allow it to focus on helping its allies in Asgard.

WELCOME TO THE PARTY

Norway's ally Canada has joined the war against the UK. After rejecting a proposal to NE Spain, the Canadians agreed the UK was a suitable target for war. The UK has had its hands full with the French while they also recover from their recent thefts. Though Poland and Serbia have both taken a part in the war against France, with Canada and Norway's support, the UK may be held off long enough for France to regain control of its struggle. The Canadians have suited up for the war effort, recently signing MPPs with Bulgaria and China.

OTHER KEY EVENTS
-India and Pakistan begin war
-Romania and Moldova start training war
-Serbia gains local rubber resource from France

MY CURRENT MISSION

I will be running for my second term as party president of the ILP. My goals are simple: to get younger members more experience in the political scene, to bring back the ILP awards, and to be more active internationally, such as in the eComintern. I hope all of my fellow members will support me on election day and have faith that I will not lead the party astray. Aside from the election, I'll be giving every thing I have in this tournament which starts soon, while I've considered ideas for a new tournament in the future as well.
