Welcome to the First Day: Part 2

Day 1,803, 00:16 Published in Australia Australia by ronnyJnrJnr

OK Kids... as promised, here is the second installment of the first day guide for noobs. Training, types of training grounds and missions.

The next step is to train.

Click Train in the tutorial panel. You will be brought to the training screen.

Training also takes 10 energy each time you train. Once again, like working, click the silhouette and it will turn black.
Then click the "Train" button

Once you have completed training for the first time, you will have advanced to level 2,

giving you an extra 20 recoverable energy,

an energy refill and an extra 1 gold. It is recommended to drain ALL your energy in the recoverable energy bar BEFORE leveling up. This can be done by training, then fighting a couple of times, leaving yourself enough energy to work. It can be tricky to manage draining your energy to time it just right, but with a little practice, it can be done regularly.

You have also completed your very first mission

Missions are found in the left panel underneath your Citizen Currency.

To find out more about the mission, click the mission you would like to know about

and a splash screen will pop up detailing the mission you have selected

Once you have completed the requirements for any given mission, a new screen will pop up, telling you that you have completed your very first mission

Types of Training Grounds

There are 4 types of training grounds on which you may train. Free, 0.19,0.89 and 1.79 gold. Training with these types of training grounds will cost you the amount shown in gold each time you train.

To be able to use all 4 training grounds, you must first reach level 3. After this level, all 4 training grounds will appear on your training page.

The advantage of "Gold Training" is more rapid advancement of your Strength. You may train in all 4 each day.

Upgrading Training Grounds

Training Grounds may also be upgraded. Click the green up arrow

A new green arrow will then appear next to he training ground image

Clicking upgrade takes you to the Upgrade screen

The number of stars underneath the training ground denotes the level of upgrade. There are 4 levels of upgrades available.

It is recommended to use the 0.19 training facility. Working for 30 days in a row and training every day using "free" and "0.19" gold training will give you a Super Soldier medal and a Hard Worker medal in 30 days, netting you 10 gold for an outlay of only 6.

Joining the eAustralian Forums and joining the ADF on the forums can also help you supplement your training.

Getting involved with the community on IRC is also a very useful way to gain knowledge and tips for the game.

There we have it kids. A quick insight on how to make it through the maze of working and training. As with the previous article, all this information can be freely found on the eAustralian education site. Don't be shy, get on IRC and get to know the players. It is THE BEST way to get instant answers and help for any issues you may have. An active community is a healthy community.
