Welcome To The Bubble Tea House:A Tale of Singapore.

Day 1,629, 13:43 Published in Singapore Singapore by Boethiah

Sit down sit down.

Want some tea? we have the finest tea's in south east Asia, nay the entire world. Sweet Jasmine tea(my personal favorite), chamomile, or even exotic brews from far off lands, like PG tips.

Jasmine you say? A fine choice!

Pay for it you say? How about you listen to this old mans tales of when this land was young, and its people free?

A fair exchange indeed may child.

Where do I begin?

Did you know what Singapore used to be like? Well it was a proud nation, small, but full of personality. We had the honorable Relorian, el Presidente Flaco, the mighty warrior Arb, Chewie, who I believe now controls half the eWorld hehe, thedarkace, woshiempire, the divine Whispering Elizabeth, this country gave birth to Legends. Who me? No, I'm a washed up man who mourns for a past he can never return to. We used to have mighty q5 Merlions lining our beaches, Lasers at the ready. Times weren't always easy, someone always wanted to wrest political control from us. But one good thing about the Singapore was every body, well, nearly every body was accepted, I was here since I was born, but so long as people didn't rock the boat so much and start attacking us, they were fine. See some folks attacked the govt and that was tough because every one was the govt, most every one who wanted a job got it, and party politics wasn't so much of an issue here. Course if any one did attack us we tried to be accepting at first but they didn't last long.

Its very kind of you to listen to an old mans rambling, but there is something else I wanted to talk to you about.

More tea?
*Lowers voice*
Any way, we are trying to get a group of concerned citizens to help us form a govt in exile, at least to help re-build...no not rebuild...hmmmmm to help us build a new Singaporean society. How can you help? Well as you know, we sadly have no control at the moment, but we can still build a functioning community. I'm sure many, like me, do not wish to give up their Citizenship. We have a forum, and a place to chat on IRC Rizon #eSingapore, also, do not be afraid to write newspaper articles, even light ones are welcome.

If you want to help our shadow govt, message me, or chew-chew-shoe, we have much to do.

I have to go now, thank you for listening to this old mans flights of fancy.
