i think that this makes a point that science is important but without the inspiration of God then there would be no science and we would still live in caves and not even have fire

97% of the National Academy of Science is atheist or otherwise nonreligious. Your move.
well maybe its that 3% that make the most important discoveries
Common people, schience is more important than what you belive in your private life. The problem came when religious start to claim things like , the world is 6000 years old.
Love this article !!
Carl Sagan, Stephen Hawking, Neil Tyson. All atheists.
Man i ask did you copy this or this you own work? because this is copy right...
Here science is from religion, maining from Christianity.
I took it off this wonderful website. http://zenpencils.com/
There's a link to the website at the bottom of the page, everyone can see where it's from. No copyrights were infringed. It's free information, something that religious fanatics fear.
Science and religion have no connection whatsoever.
God inspires us to make these wonderful discoveries tough.
And take this for what its worth but without God there is no heaven and without heaven there really is no reason to live a good life
If you need the promise of heaven to live a good life you must have a sad and empty existence. An intelligent person doesn't need heaven to know that doing good is it's own reward. Our time on Earth is short. That's what makes life so beautiful, so valuable.
@ everyone hating u I'm pretty sure the only god cavemen believed in was the mammoth. No offense, but religion sort of restricted science, not powered, especially in the old days.
mabay Stephen Hawkings is atheist, but Eienstein war a devout Christian, and he was without doubt the greatest scientist ever. He once sai😛 "A little bit of science takes man away from God, a lot brings him back."
P.S. I am a creationist, but I still belive in evolution.
Ok so there are two seemingly competing schools of thought in our world.... that which science has discovered, and that which religion has discovered. The other 99% of what is out there falls into the realm of Metaphysics. The religious folks and the scientists fight over which has figured out more. We live in the 3rd dimension. Religion talks about other dimensions... the call it Heaven or Hell. Yet they refuse to believe in other dimensions as the words "other dimensions" do not show up
in the Bible. Science theorizes on other dimensions but as of yet are unable to prove that they exist. As a practicing Shaman who comes from a 12,000 year old tradition of extra dimensional travel, I find little use for most religion or science. One day they may actually catch up to what the Hopi Indians have known for thousands of years. When they do, I might listen. Untill then, I will enjoy their comedy.
All i was saying was that by having God I know i am inspired to do good things and can have the help to know the difference between right and wrong.
And i think that the quote posted earlier which was originally said by Einstein is perfect in this situation "A little bit of science takes man away from God, a lot brings him back."
Science is what puts us in the position to better understand God and they go hand in hand having said that
> Believes in evolution but claims to be a creationist.
Ladies and gentlemen we have a MENSA candidate here.
everyone hating me Day 1,666, 11:14
i think that this makes a point that science is important but without the inspiration of God then there would be no science and we would still live in caves and not even have fire
Give me a break.... you obviously know nothing about science OR of God. Get a grip.
Einstein wasn't a devout christian, he was jewish. Second, he did not believe in Him.
I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it. (Albert Einstein, 1954)
Einstein's God defered totally from yours. He did not believe in an intangible entity but the Cosmos and all its order in the Chaos.
@ Karron: On the sixth day, God created man. I do not know if this is literal 24-hour periods or not. I belive not, for science says that the earth is 4 billion years old. I do not beleive the bogus claim that Earth is 6000 years old. after Cain killed Abel, he went to live with "the people". mabey Adam and Eve God created derectly, and the people Cain went to live with created by eveloution. Mabey when God said "let there be light" that the light created was from the Big Bang!
a discussion between science and beliefs is like having a discussion of who is actually the "man of the house" the man or woman...
think twice before answering, your wife can read this sometime. XD
exact science makes you feel what is real...good!
beliefs are the ones that push you when you can't do it by yourself.
for my is simple, when science has a reason for something i'll take it. when they can... i'll believe.
Morgan Freeman is an atheist. Debate over. 🙂
