Welcome Home, Ukraine!

Day 531, 08:41 Published in Ukraine Italy by Irov

Dear friends,

After an odyssey which may have seemed like an eternity, Ukraine exists once more. With the independence of Galicia, Ukraine has once again been re-established in one of her great ancestral homelands, a region tied perhaps more intimately to the formation of modern Ukrainian culture than any other. Welcome home, Ukraine!

As we all know, Ukraine's journey is just beginning. The wars of the last week have left our economy devastated and our population scattered. In the coming days, we will all have to work together to start over, to rebuild what we loved most dearly and to create and improve other things that we need and want. But before we can do any of this, we must first find our brothers and sisters and bring them home!

To help do this, I am asking everyone who reads this article to do several things.
1) First, vote for the article, and tell anyone else you can think of about it. The more we spread the word, the more Ukrainians we can help come home.
2) If you or someone you know needs a moving ticket or other help, contact the Ukrainian Government in Exile here. The GIE's funds will be used to provide as many moving tickets as possible for Ukrainians who need help getting back home, so PLEASE contact us if you need help!
3) Finally, if there is anything else anyone can think of to help find other Ukrainians, please let me know and I will write about it.

Ukrainians, let this be a day of celebration for us all, but also a day of work! Our journey must now begin with this first step. Let us unite to find our scattered friends and bring them home.

Best wishes to our friends across the globe!
