The Essay Contest will close on Wednesday at midnight server time.

Again, entries should be 1 page long in 12-pt font in MS Word or similar program.

To be considered in the contest, you need to send me a link to your article. Otherwise, how will I know about it?

The prize is 5 GOLD for the top winner, and maybe more for honorable mentions if Congress ever votes on the budget.



I announced last week that George the Admin (a founding member of the eRepublik team) would speak on my podcast.

Unfortunately, since his initial PM indicating high interest, he has apparently ignored me. It's not like he did not log in, since he has worked today.. It's possible he simply forgot, except that I sent a follow-up PM on Friday which included my email, but still no reply.

It's a real shame that the eRepublik team is so unwilling to communicate with those of us who play their game. It won't be long before the only type of contact ticket you are allowed to send will be a Purchase Order.

The final reminder is that we all need to remember this is a game.
