President Harrison Richardson announced today that national intelligence sources suspect that the hypocritically named PEACE GC may be planning an attack on our borders. Such a domestic attack would be the first assault on American soil since the dawn of V1. Currently the United States has 19 defensive alliances, many of which were established to allow access to the Irish war games, and would likely see assistance from many of those nations in the event of an invasion. Some sources inside the military, though, say that may not be enough to guarantee the safety of all 51 regions.

For months our strongest defense has been what is referred to as the "Noob wall," the plethora of new or uninformed players that will defend the nation with Q1s and their bare fists if necessary. While that may have been enough of a deterrent in the past, sources suggest that even our large population may no longer be enough. The best way now to ensure success and safety for our nation is to use that brute force and organize it. Already we have some of the greatest minds in the game working in the many branches of our armed services, but they need to fill up the ranks to have the greatest potential for success. Hundreds of men already populate the six branches of our forces, but they always have a spot ready for the next man to step up and serve his nation.

For a new player just starting out, there is a place just for you. The Training Division, formally the National Guard, has no minimum requirements and has a short 3-week training program to prepare any and every soldier to maximize his or her abilities on the battlefield. If you have a strength above 4, you may want to consider the Mobile Infantry instead. The MI will often provide your first taste of deployment. The federal government provides 375 gold every week to the leaders of this division, and the money is spent well. To start seeing the world, kicking butt, and taking names (all on Harrison's dime), enlist now!

The US Army also receives 375 gold weekly, and if your strength is above 6, the Army is the place for you. They do ask that recruits have a rank of Corporal, but exceptions can be made. The Airborne and the Marines are the most elite fighting forces in the nation, and arguably in the world. Requiring 8 and 10 strength respectively, they demand high levels of activity and can easily crush most any nation who stands in their way. Membership in these branches of the military is hard work, but is also extremely rewarding. You should already be a member of the military to join the Airborne or the Marines, so if you have the levels, talk to your commanding officer about a transfer.


In this ever changing world in which we live in, don't just Live and Let Die.
