Dear Citizens of The New World,
I think there should be limits on each skill.
For example working skills total can be limited to 15 or each of the working skills can be limeted to 10. And about the strenght skill, that must be limited too (20 will be acceptable) because every other day the old players growing and growing, the new players never can be able to reach them, even can't get close to them.
If it continues like that there will be no purpose to start playing the game in the near future regarding that some of the old players already passed 15 strenght. But it won't be fair if you remove all the advantages of being old player.
To avoid that I suggest that new rankings should be added and multiplier of each ranking should be increased. So old players can always make bigger damages and can use the advantages of being old player with their highest strenght and higher rankings than the others.

I don't agree with you. Strength and skill develops slower and slower, so a tank with 15 strength will have 20 strength one year later, and a beginner will have 15 strength then, that's not so much difference. And later the game may be restarted too.

Not know, I'm just talking about future, maybe 5 years later. It's also possible, that 5 years latet this game won't exist.

Or just like Benjamin Button, new players should start with strenght 20 and skill 10, and weakening from day to day?
I think it is good as it is. We should let the Elders keep their joy that they have playing this game from old prehistoryc times that already faded to the mist.

irl, humans gain strength till a certain age and then lose their power slowly and dies.
in erepublik, a limit for strenghts is needed.

im a newbie, but heck, like everybody was once.
imho its a bit disappointing, that a new country never be able to defend itself from older states.
a newbie never be able to reach the elders (nevermind the difference).
some people came earlyer - so? who cares? they had fun, they had time, they have much more money and influence - and above all - they are unreachable. its not fair, and its no good for the game.
its good only for the first players alone.

The skill increase should be lower and lower above certain limits. For example for skills above 10 the increase should be +0.01 / day.

And ı am agree with Fontenelle. If we consider about future of this game. For example my str is 5.4 for now but it is rising faster than 20 str. in train and wars. But if we want to give a drama to this game, we can add life time. 😁

ayrıca nasıl hızlı artıyor senin str merak ettim, oyun kurallarına göre (aşağıda ki linkten de kontrol edebilirsin) sen de uzun bir süredir 15 str'li oyuncu kadar kazanıyorsun günlük, ve o da bu oyun devam ettiği sürece her zaman senden 10 str yüksek olacak 😉

I agree with RupeTot.
Don't max the skill/strength level, but cut a bit the increase rate, say above skill level 10, or strength level 15. This would give the opportunity for the new players to catch up a bit, and the older players would also have the opportunity to develope, which is important in a game.

@yashukawa; eski olduğunuz için bizden daha önce daha yüksek ranklara çıkmış olacaksınız, belli bir süre sonra ise, oyuna kim daha fazla önem veriyorsa, harcama yapıyorsa o daha çok rank alacağı için avantajı ele alacak (bu açıdan bakınca sanki pek içime sinmedi,iş tamamen paraya dönecek) 🙁

i dont agree, these are not linear and now it is okay if somebody plays for a long time he/she deserves respect and a little advantage. i dont think so too many people will stay in the game there are many citizen who gives up after a few month. The change of the skills and strength would kill the possibilities, the complexity of this game. The wide differencies give dinamics to this world.
