Lately there seems to be a bit of bad blood in the media between the eUS and eRomania. The articles in eAmerican media are criticizing the eUS for not helping considerably in the Sofia battle. It seems like the average reply is "Well you didn't help us in Kyushu", which quickly leads to each side listing a half dozen battles that the other didn't participate in.
I think this is counter-productive to both our countries national strategies, and I think that trolls on all sides of this debate want to keep these wounds open, hoping that it drives us apart.
eAmerica loves eRomania! We respect the fact that you guys have the best fighters in the world (suck it Hungary), and eRomania has been one of our oldest and dearest allies. Many of us in eAmerica understand that eRomania lives in a highly fractured and contested part of the eWorld, and that the defense of your area has to come first.
I know I was happy to participate recently in the attacks in South Africa. The trolls have made it out to sound like we favored them over eRomania. That's as far as you can get from the truth. In all honesty, we were fighting AGAINST eIndonesia more than we were fighting for eSA. It's a shame that sometime in the recent past our MPPs with you guys were broken, and our two-clickers weren't able to participate in Sofia.
When you take away all the hateful trolls, what you are left with is two brothers having an argument. And just like real-life brothers we will argue for a while and still be there for each other in the end.
So once this arm-wrestling match is over we can get back to the real business of hurting our common enemies. To everyone in eRomania, I salute you, and have only one thing to say...

I'd be careful who you're calling trolls. The vast majority of eRomanians have expressed their concerns about how the relationship between Romania and EDEN has mostly been one-sided lately. Including some of our best and experienced players. Reducing all this to a simple trolling attempt seems a bit uncalled for and inappropriate.
It is true that US maybe has been getting a bit more criticism than they should, but it is also true that US is part of the problem a lot of eRomanians have brought up. But this needs to be resolved between the high-officials from all the EDEN countries and not here. So I do agree that we need to keep comments and articles civilized and respectful, as long as the US does admit that there is a real issue here and not just trolling.
I have to ask what's with the Kyushu obsession and who started the myth that Ronmania didn't helped.
PS:and this is not about the US and Sofia is about EDEN and the last 6-7 weeks.

Well for one Romania did a third or less (even counting Ukraine, Belgium, and Moldova) then Hungary did in Kyushu. They barely edged out Canada (a much smaller country) in Liaoning. And In every Romanian battle so far our media has been flooded by Romanian detractors that decry our lack of involvement, despite the lack of Mpps. The demand our aid even if that aid would come at the coast of Greak iron or Croation existence.
I for one am a bit tired of being draged around like a junior parrtner in the Alliance. We were invited to the alliance with the threat of loss of support if we didn't join. And since we have joined, we have had to watch our neutral friends get PTOed by EDEN countries. We have had to endure insults for not supporting it. We had to watch a long effort to cultivate a new ally trashed in the hopes of revenge. And now, we are to be criticized for helping our Allies cause we couldn't protect No recourse territories of one while defending the very existence of the others.
Romania has to become as pragmatic as the U.S.
when our troops will be needed to EDEN, we will publish some nice articles in the EDEN press countries ...

@Aurelius Ambrosius: we are tired too of such allies as you prove to be (just reading what you`re writing it`s enough). Since 1st of January we heard only excuses (from the wise ones) and we get just words from those as you.
try your best not to need us. we didn`t need you to be grateful (even if it was deserved), we hoped you to be fair. unfortunately you failed 🙁. in RL you are considered good friends but in this game you began to look as spoiled and ungrateful kids.

Communication and mutual information is of paramount importance! Stop the flaming wars! Although now the Romanians are pissed off and frustrated, I think the last month was a success on the whole for EDEN.
The general population misses the bigger picture and the international context, better information of the citizens from the part of the politicians and MODs is necessary.

I`m glad you`re not in the "general population" and you can see the big picture and the international context even when you lose regions which you gained fighting and you`re allies were nowhere. sometimes tey were busy, but not everytime. your kind of attitude led in this situation...

In Kyushu, Romania had 500K damage, more then you helped us in... dunno... months?

An interesting piece of statistics, that came up in a questionnaire: 28 % of Hungarians would support eRomania against eUSA - and only 10 % would fight beside USA in that conflict. (the rest is undecided or would remain neutral). It has been suggested that our Eastern-European countries would indeed cooperate if the opposition is that one - even to the point of putting aside differences between us.

This guy couldn't have said it any better, all of one country is not to blame for the decision making. Romania is awesome, things get tough with alliances this much is known, however you guys really shouldn't be rubbed the wrong way. While your disappointment is noted that is what happens in alliances with battles going on all over the eWorld, I am just and EDEN supporter and am no way shape or form represent eUSA or any EDEN country I am a citizen of eAustria. Now you all should be on the front with your rifles together in the trenches side by side. <3 you Bromania.
You know, if we had an MPP with Romania, it's entirely possible that the general population would have been directed to fight with you, instead of in yet another RW for training. Why neither side has proposed one yet I couldn't say, though.
@Nuada: what are you talking about? check your MPP`s for God`s sake and the dates of the battles lost by Romania in Bulgaria after we concured Sofia. that`s your great friendship 🙁. you don`t even know that you signed MPP. It expires in 10 days, "ally" 🙁

My opinion is that USA is the last one on the list to be accused for not helping in Sofia2.And anyway, responsible for this entire EDEN crisis is the one and only EDEN HQ ( they probably got 'burnout', I don't think it's an easy thing being there, but they did take some strange decisions lately.. which angered more countries than just Romania ).
For accuracy our Mobile forces did aprox 567395 damage in Kyushu in one day. ( that is nr 3 on the ally list, thank you ).And this is irrelevant because you shouldn't help us because we are strong but because we are your allies.
