We need clarification!
Achab Collins
My recent article showing my proposal for Dail election was misunderstood. I believe that misunderstandings are always due to writer's fault in explaining his opinion, so i apologise with you all.
i wrote that, if elected, i will make two proposals: minimum wage of 15IEP and lower taxation. I have to thank MUFC and Bean&Teddy for their opinion, that made me aware that a article for clarification was needed. Someone thought I just mentioned this two problems because they would collect easily votes for me, especially younger player's vote. This is not my target.
I focused on minimum wage matter because it would help in mantain a bit of money in the account when you are hired by a friend in order to complete missions. and also we must consider that people do not only live and work in communes (like me), having a wage and administrating it in the way they prefer.
for the same reason i focused on taxation because i don't like to see my earning cutted by taxes (i think so no one like taxes!)
Contact me for any further clarification, I will be glad to explain you my opinion and hear your opinions!

Minimum wage isn't relevant. Everyone is earning x1000 the minimum wage atleast.
We only have it set so low so communes can operate more easily if they choose to.
Income tax is 1%, the lowest it can be set.
Import taxes on Food and Weapons are set medium protectionist for the benefit of our national employers
Import taxes on Raw Materials is set low, and may be set lower soon to provide cheap access to manufacture materials
VAT on weapons was very carefully considered and it's effects on the Irish consumer very tightly monitored and controlled
monitoring and controlling the effect of a tax does not mean it is fair to pay it, unfortunately... Tnx for your interesting comment!
Achab we require some sort of tax to keep money in the treasury, if the tax is set too low we won't have enough money for the things we need like MPPs etc.
