We Have Only Just Begun to Fight!

All of you, unless you have been hiding in a very deep hole, have heard of the peace treaty with the members of PEACE GC that were only so recently raping our country. And if you’ve heard about it, you’ll have noticed that everyone has an opinion on it:
“HOW DARE THAT BAST-”
“WHY DIDN’T YOU SIGN BEFORE [inser home state here] WAS CONQ-”
“’Bout time"
“-coward, he ain't”
“...patriot...”
Now honestly, I am of a very mixed opinion of this peace treaty. I would have liked to see us go out in a blaze of glory, wiped out like Canada, North Korea and Switzerland, rather than consider a peace treaty. I would like to think that my home state of Washington was not alone in her sacrifice. However, PEACE is smarter than that. They wouldn’t have given the world another martyr. Instead we would be trapped in at best our two fortress states, unable to leave, stuck with a stagnant and dying economy. We’d be a mockery of the former eUSA, and PEACE would be able to gloat about how they had humiliated us.
Whether or not you agree with Emerick, this decision was ultimately made for the good of our country, and our allies, even if it wasn’t the salve we felt we needed for our (far more than bruised) ego. Is he a traitor? No. In his campaign he talked of how he would look to every option, even if it meant a peace treaty. Unless a truly massive amount of two clickers put him in office, those who voted better have read his campaign, and considered the consequences. He just made one of the hardest decisions in the history of this game.
Do any of you think you would have the courage to do what he just did, knowing what kind of a backlash would occur? I know I couldn’t have. This wasn’t a spur of the moment decision, he had to consider this. He had to know that no matter what his future with the eUSA is over now.
He sacrificed himself so that we did not have to become a vassal state to PEACE like Australia, no matter how “free” they may appear. We can still ally with whoever we want, fight for whoever we want, win any damn battles we want.
His sacrifice has allowed us to stay true to ourselves, to try to rebuild the eAmerican ego. We won’t be puppets pulled by PEACE’s strings, scared into submission like our former ally the eUK.
We are facing a new era in this war, one where our direct involvement has ended. But however humbled and crippled we have become, we can still fight. And we shall continue this war. And we will win this WAR!
