US forces have started an a attack to Mexico almost 24 hours ago. We have placed ourselves on the Mexican side of the border, anticipating US move into Baja, in order to get a better scope of the situation in the country.
It is important to understand that rumours in Mexico are claiming that congress was taken by a group of Polish citizens, who have depleted the meagre gold reserves of the Mexican state.
rumours claim that the polish takeover, and robbery, comes at a very convenient time, because while the US is attacking, Mexico has lost it's capacity to establish MPP agreements with other nations, and is therefore defenceless. Only one agreement with the Hungarians was made.
There is no connection between northern Mexico and the rest of the country
It is also important to bear in mind that the US attack against the three Mexican regions also faces another problem:
As we all know, and considering the know borders of Erepublik, the regions of Baja, Northwest-Mexico and Northeast-Mexico (the ones under attack) have no direct contact with the rest of the country (look at the map).
Therefore, while the US troops are going to take all northern Mexico, they are not able to move again until next Wednesday.
Erepublik Insider stated already that the strange geographical situation of Mexico is going to be corrected from day 470.
As a result, the USA has to wait until Wednesday to strike again deep inside Mexico. This gives the US markets the needed time to resupply, while the eMexicans, who were left with no money in their safe cannot resupply and have no money to ask for help.
While we have no idea about if all this is just a coincidence or the result of an organized master plan, we must say that the wind sure looks favourable.

Im glad that are forces have been able to do a grand job thus far, is there an official plan from Uncle sam announced yet as to how the transistion of power back to the mexican people will g? it has pretty much been said by congress that we are not going to stay there, we are going to liberate and give back, or at least thats the general theme im finding?

no its not a war game, from what we have gathered officially, it is a liberating movement, to give the true mexican peoples back their country
some people have called for us to completely take over mexico, but that has been deemed not the truth by several congressmen
I was of the understanding that we would be continuing to control northern Mexico, temporarily controlling the capital, and generally avoiding the deep south of Mexico. The control of northern Mexico is to give us buffer territory in the case of an attack made by PEACE through Mexico.

that may be the case markus, there has been talk of controlling just the northern region as a buffer, but further than that we have no confirmation publicly speaking

THer ehas been talk of a fine from atlantis or reprocutions of a greater magnitude for not notifying the alliance before we started this war which was indeed part of the original agreement for being part of atlantis, mostly the UK has been groaning and moaning about it, and rightfully so, we did not follow the
rules, but it appears that they are now intangled up in civil unrest themselves so
the chances of the UK taking any solid action is slim to none in my view. Mexico signed a
protection act with hungary i believe it was at the start or a little after our war started
and nothing official has came out denouncing our moves from their government from what i have

This was a wonderful strategic victory.
These three regions are as far as we're going.
By the time the admins fix the map, there will be plenty of time for the rest of the world to organize the defense of the rest of Mexico.
Two of the three Mexican battle heroes are from Spain, our "ally" in Atlantis.
We're going no further. The only question is whether we give the regions back in RW's as training exercises.

I didn't hear of any punitive measures being taken against these countries by they're allies, so stay chill.It would be a hipocrit's behaviour to start with the US now. The truth is, most of the eWorld sees the US as a lazy elephant, strong, but week in determination. This belief must change. The US must be put where it belongs, and that is amongst the respeted nations of the world ( or eWorld, as you like).
In other state of mind, we now have a foothold and a bumoper -zone against PEACE, and it's further atacks, not to mention the combined potential damage of the entire US Army. Just take a look at the statistichs, without counting in the foreign mercenaries, who of course fight for gold no mather against whom.Anyway, the US is on the right track on establishing itself on the world stage, we just need to pull together better, and coordinate our actions.
Here's the latest "surprise". While we wait for the admins to kindly award us 2 of the 3 territories we just won, and another 72 hours for them to figure out that Northern Mexico borders Central Mexico, Mexico just entered into two new MPP's.
That's cool and fair.
If the admins can't figure out how to draw a map, they just can't. Maybe we will benefit from this someday if someone attempts to invade Pennsylvania from Ohio (in eRepublik, they don't touch.😁
By Wednesday, we may well be looking at Indonesia if we go further into Mexico. Maybe we should, anyway, just to settle this.

Its not a liberating movement if it was then the Mexicans would not be fighting us off so hard and signing MPPs like crazy. If the admins were to fix the bugs today then we could go further however it seems we will have to wait till day 470 which will be too late. Might as well make good with what we have.
