We Are Not Second Rate.

eCanada is not second rate.

Canada has more than it takes to be a leader in every fiel😛 economics, revenue, business, intelligence, foreign relations, defense planning, military strategy, organization and precision. We can be first rate in all of these fields, and more. Our Congress can, could and should architect wise laws that govern, manage and rule this nation in such a way that we can have confidence in the present time, and in times to come. They can do it, they ought to do it. Canada should be the par for countries, the one to beat. What we lack in population, we can make up in mastery. Canada has a conscience. We honour our agreements and we honour our alliances; however, we do not honour dishonour. Now if we fail to master every field, and if we fail to push ourselves to be satisfied with nothing less than the very best, then we have to start compromising things. If we fail to believe in our country, to believe in ourselves, then we will become a second rate power, subject always to others, be it the whims of foreign nations or the whims of our own leaders, which under the present regime, is rarely if ever what's best for Canada, but what's best for the regime.

The incumbent is the old mind of Canada.

He represents a habitually enforced mentality of Canada being second rate, and nothing and never more. To survive we must be sly, we must sell what we have for support. This mentality reinforces itself with time. By never striving to be more, by never aiming to be the best, our nation falls into complacency. The present leadership believes our position in the eWorld is one of dependency, where we must throw ourselves into the laps of others in order to survive. He holds us back. He does not dare to strive for more, he does not dare to push our own leaders to be more; rather, he is satisfied with a happy complacency, where our leaders are dull and dumb, asked of little except to submit and agree from time to time, and move on.

Canada may never be #1 in population

However, we share that fate with the just about every other country, and if we let that mentality hold us back, then we will never be #1 in anything. Our population, combined with those country's populations who, like ours, are not #1, will always dwarf the front runners; therefore, we should never be afraid of holding ourselves back due to the obstacles in front of us. Leaders see obstacles as challenges to overcome. The present leadership sees obstacles as boundaries. We don't border nations with a smaller population than ours? Then we must not think to attack them, even if they are our enemies or attacked us first. Canada does not have the largest military? Then we must not strive to. Canada does not do timed strikes? Then we are not meant to. Canada does not take a leadership position in any alliances? Then we must not strive to be leaders in our alliances. Canada's enemies are checked by other allies? Then we must not strive to check our own enemies; rather, let our allies be worry about our enemies. Canada, in the event of an invasion, would be dependent on allied support? Then we must not worry or bother to plan the very best defense possible; rather, let us pray and pander to our allies to overcome our own shortcomings; that is, let them pay for or plan our defense. Etc., etc.

Canada isn't just another ally.

Canada is, can be and should become the very best of allies; the best of friends. We ought to do this for the sake of the principal itself. We ought to be the best of allies because we believe we can be, indeed, the best, and our allies, being themselves good, deserve the best ally they can get in Canada.

Our national goals and objectives (the real ones, not the silly ones the Admins invented) should be driven by excellence; not determined by fear, necessity or worse, money. There will never be a shortage of things to be afraid of, never a shortage of necessity, and naturally there will always be a need for more money. Allowing our fears and needs to dictate our policies makes those fears and needs the real rulers of our nation, and the people in positions of power, subject to those fears, are not leaders but themselves subject to fear, and worry, and necessity.

Leaders are said to be courageous.

They see obstacles, and they overcome them. Leaders see danger, and rather than running from it (or pretending it isn't there) attack the danger off guard and neutralize the threat - Carpe Diem is their calling. Leaders aim higher. They aim higher in principles, in ideals, in goals; because they aim higher they expect more: more from themselves and more from those who follow them. Leaders believe in themselves but they also believe in the people around them, that they too can be more. Leaders are lead by vision; by a hope or faith that things can be better, but in order for that to happen, we must strive to become better every day.

A Leader.

Are you thinking of the present President right now? I'm not. I say aim higher; aim for more, strive to be better, and -at the least- don't rubber stamp the second-rate mentality this month, though it may seem easy or logical or even prudent (it's not). Don't be afraid of the unknown. Don't be happy with satisfactory. Don't relegate us to perpetual second rate. If our leaders are going to demand, "Just let me do what I want," then say, "Sure, but at least do something." Demand more from our leaders; demand they lead us, and demand they believe in us too. There's more than one citizen in eCanada; there's more than one talent waiting to be developed. Today, vote for eCanada; today, vote for Derek Harland.

&quot😉o or do not: There is no try."

The present President has tried 5 times now. Time to elect someone who will do it.

Take care,

WD.
