Washingtonians! Libertarians! Countrymen! Lend Me Your Ears!

Day 577, 19:08 Published in USA USA by Sam Brusca

Good evening fellow members of Washington, my name is Sam Brusca and I will be running for Congressman in this great state for the upcoming June election under the Libertarian banner. I'd like to take a few minutes of your time and talk a little bit about why you should vote for me on June 24th. I promise I'll try to be brief. I realize many of you do not participate actively in the organized politics of this country, however, I believe that you can still have a voice in your government, and that voice can be me.

Let me tell you a little bit of where I stand on important issues, and how I will vote if elected to congress. (Because let's be honest that's all I'm really good for). I am a Libertarian through and through and I will not bend easily on the important issues. I believe in less taxes, both on imports and revenue, the people should keep their own money. I believe in no useless foreign alliances, all alliances should be well thought out and carefully weighed, and in my opinion, should be matched with some sort of trade aggrement as well to insure the sincerity of the proposal. Too many countries lately take alliances and MPP too loosely. I believe in free trade and a break down of expensive import and export taxes, America can only benefit from this as we are a leader in production of many things as well as exporting our goods. Lastly, I would want to do something to positively impact my fellow statesmen. I would like to see better hospital built in Washington in my term, we have over 500 citizens and are a border state, yet only have a Q2 hospital. To me this is unacceptable as much smaller states in the heart of the country have better health care than we do. A Q2 hospital is the bare minimum needed to work and fight in the same day and not lose health. I pledge to work tirelessly to improve this if elected. To sum it up, I believe in minimal government intervention, I think that the people will always act in a way that promotes themselves and our nation as a whole, a top-heavy government just slows us down.

I appreciate your time, and hopefully your vote. I welcome any questions or concerns you may have, feel free to PM me anytime. Remember to vote in the upcoming election.

Sincerly,
Sam Brusca
Prospective Washington Congressman
